Patreon Development Update 08.09.2022 (Patreon)

Hey all,

It's time for a new dev update. There hasn't been one in a while so we have some cool things to share :)

Level: We are making good progress in the detailing of the Umbar house designs, specifically working on exterior materials and surface details. The pillar cliff rocks are also in the finishing stage and we are making first experiments with foliage covers.

Code: Sandbox 2.0 is getting a custom mesh import prop added. We also added a custom material library where you can create your own materials with support for external texture maps. Working on a system where you can share sandbox saves as a .zip containing local files on your computer which are referenced by the props.

Character: Say hello to our warrior villager Zyke - he’s the village butcher and tanner but clearly he is also a most capable warrior. He will share animations with the Bol skeleton.

Animations: Max x Tali extended minigame is ready for implementation, Maya x Zuri and Maya x Grok minigames are in the works.

Hopper creature animation has started and it's looking pretty cool already, check out the video at the top.

Story: We are almost finished with the storyboarding for the game story-mode cutscenes and making further progress in quest design for main story and sidequests.
