Welcome travelers!

We have been working on the game’s setting, lore and story for quite a while now and it is time we present it to you.

We will not spoil the main plot of the game with these, but spoilers concerning the setting and backstory are inevitable. So if you prefer to explore the world completely un-spoilered once the game is done, do not read any further!

Today, let's talk about…

Lake Village
Village of Healing

Built on and around an idyllic lake, this small village will likely be the first Max explores on his journey through Kerpal. It lies not far from Alpha Camp and is therefore of immediate interest to the scientists landing on Kerpal.

Led by a cat matriarch, it is a peaceful fisher village that trades clay wares and surplus fish in exchange for the protection of the warrior tribe. This protection is needed, since not far from the village, towards the mountains, lies the perilous stone pillar region. Thickly overgrown with jungle, it is infested with feral Kerpali who sometimes prowl near the village in search of food. Lately, lizard scouts have also been spotted emerging from a cave entrance nearby, requiring the warriors to keep an extra close eye on it.

To the rest of Kerpal, Lake Village is also known as the village of healing. Their healer’s knowledge of herbs and natural remedies is unsurpassed and when the trade caravans of Pearl Village come by, they trade precious pearls and goods from Umbar in exchange for medicine.

When Max and the scientists arrive, they will find the village to be welcoming and friendly, freely sharing what they know of the lands with the new arrivals.

That’s it for today - next time, we will tell you more about a different important location of Kerpal, so stay tuned! As always, thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy these little peeks into the lore of the game :)

What would be super cool is if Bol/Frank could turn into dungeon masters of a sort using this or that on the females. That along with those types of sex scenes could be useful in order to extract information from captives. We already have the bench so why not go all the way with it. Hell, give Bol/Frank the perfect dungeon master outfit for the occasion. They don't have to hurt them but merely extract information from them using pure pleasure while at the same time holding back from giving it. Then, just at the right time give them the big [O]. Then while they are panting they/she spill their guts, telling every thing they know. Could that be a thing?

WarMallet

Maybe Bol could use chain/shackles and rope for restraints. Tell me though, is all this to much for people to take in? Would you guys even be allowed to create it for the game or would it be to much for steam to allow? If captives were not actually being hurt and were somewhat willing, would that make it ok? Would you even be interested in creating such a subject? Its just a thought.

WarMallet

I have seen several sex steam games going into the subject of bondage and BDSM, so I don't think it would be a problem at all if you wanted to tackle the Bol needing a theme such as BDSM, using it for certain situations, that is if there is going to be a war/conflict. I'm sure steam would be good to go with it.

WarMallet

Actually I presume you will be creating a certain many more number of new characters over the next couple of years. Maybe one of them could specialize in bondage/bdsm as a raider dungeon master of interrogation with high rank. That would cover one great situational new/extra theme into the game. That would be great for a war time ships doctor general or something. I assume it would be a male but a female would be interesting as well. Reptilian interesting for sure.

WarMallet

A reptilian doctor with high rank working for the raiders would really be an interesting dungeon master. A turncoat of sorts. A sneaky looking one at that of thin stature. One full of hate and holding a grudge against his own people for what ever reason.

WarMallet

Anyway, just throwing out some idea's. Something new and a bit different to ponder upon.

PainCakes

vr is not working, just a black screen but runs fine in the background. anyone else having this issue?

Adeptus do you intend on including high heels as a clothing item in the future? I know it's probably hard since it'll involve messing up with characters heights and animations, but I just want to know if I can anticipate that or not

Velias

Any chances we are gonna see some kerpali/human(something like Satyrs) hybrids in the future or is Maya going to remain the only humanlike kerpali?

Seth Janica

With all the new scenes will we see a new tutorial update with all characters and try scenes?

That would fit right into my little cave prison ive build :D Bamboo sticks can be used for.... many things.

Impressive. But since it's on a lake would it not make more sence for it to be a Lizardman village.
