August Builds Update 02.08.2019 (Patreon)

Rejoice fellow lewdsters!

The builds for August are almost there and will be released soon. Uploading is going to take a little but keep an eye out.

Here is a list of what changed since the last (non-test) build release:

  • New Areas available!
  • Kerpali Canyon Village, the main village where our Kerpali friends now live
  • Canyon Hunting Grounds, nice forested area of the canyon
  • Updated general landscape material to represent better the different biomes that will appear in WL
  • 3 Teleporter stones help you to get quickly to relevant locations to explore the new areas.
  • First Demo of Combat released (Currently only as human females - not Shey): One of the teleport stones leads you to a combat testing area with some hyenas to fight. Pickup spear that is placed in the area and press R to draw weapon, left and right mouse buttons execute light and heavy attacks respectively.
  • New Character: Jadeen, a Tribal lady (based on Shey’s proportions)
  • Over 75 new sex animations (among which: gay and lesbian animations, check out the full list HERE!)
  • Max X Ryan, Kral X Ryan, Kral X Rawn are the pairings for gay animations
  • Some additional sex animation variations for existing poses
  • Implemented basic controller support (it's far from done yet but you can already try out movement and combat)
  • Added a HUD with compass (and some markers), quick access item slots (still WIP and not fully functional), health and stamina bars and action sings
  • Added new Spear weapon for Maya (Can be found in the combat testing area)
  • Added a lot of new sounds for environment, movement and combat
  • Kerpali characters now live in the Village and no longer creep around in the Oasis
  • Adjusted some movement values for characters (please give feedback about how the movement feels)
  • Fire from fireplaces now burns you
  • Added some blood VFX for combat
  • The Character Spawner now is permanently on the player (open it with T key)
  • Started implementing simulated cloth and hair (maya hair and tribal clothes and weapon feather for testing atm)
  • Added rabbit and fat rabbit creatures (spawnable via the character spawner). They don't do much, except for walking around and dying (death behavior not done yet).
  • Added ragdoll on death and death screen
  • Controls changed:
  • Flight now starts with  hold F key
  • Camera reset now with V key
  • And many other smaller fixes, changes and balances

And here are the new fixes and adds since the 25$ test build:

  • Added more sex animations:  Shey X 2Goatmen, Minotaur X 2Girls, Lesbian Fisting+Climax, Max x Maya Doggy, Max x Shey+Jadeen
  • Added an equippable torch (check quick access items on the left)
  • Updated lighting from torches and fire
  • Improved Cave Interiors
  • Detailed the ruined sci-fi ring Artifact
  • Fixed character collision radius and increased group-sex-gather distance (MMMMMMF is back on the menu boys!)
  • Added Auroras to the night sky
  • Characters should now be able to follow more reliable and get stuck less often
  • Multiple smaller fixes to sex animations
  • Added an “eating” animation when consuming a healing potion
  • Added Keys to go through progressive sex states (R and T keys, check inputs)
  • Added underwater look for still waters (for ocean and rivers these will follow in the next releases)
  • Reworked collisions for several areas of the Kerpali village
  • Updated character butthole textures (should be more visible now)
  • Some balancing changes and bug fixes in combat (please test these and continue to give feedback :)
  • Updated blood effects
  • added shore sand to oasis area
  • Various little fixes and tweaks

Known Issues:

  • Blood effects are still heavy work in progress
  • Hyena is unaware of obstacles when following
  • Can't switch clothes when in combat mode
  • Can't kick Chakkar
  • When an NPC is knocked out (ragdoll but not dead) while in combat mode it can’t get up and has no collision
  • Massive delayed level mesh pop-in on startup
  • The rabbits have the dialog functionality still active
  • Water will look strange until you lower the effects settings in video settings down and then up again
  • Sci-Fi ring Artifact has bad collisions
  • Bad LOD settings for Cave meshes resulting in holes in the cave walls when playing at high FOV
  • You can still see enemy health bars in the distance after you respawn
  • Changing clothes while in ragdoll resets ragdoll state
  • Characters go to T-Pose when kicked
  • Some holes in the terrain

This may be bad to hear but the download said I went over the Transfer Quota and I have to wait 5 hours just to get the game.

You'll have to wait. Or you can try the custom download (may be slow as it has a fixed bandwidth that gets clogged down when many people download from there)

Very wonderful game! But I have a question. Is it planned that when PC dies and respawns the she has broken arms just hanging around the body? Could it be healed somehow?

And you should add cactuses in the Kerpalli village area. This area lack vegetation and small details to much yet. What is the desert without cactuses? ;)

Not quite, we will add strap-on with different skins for different types of preferences. These will feature real-dick skins with full functionality (also cumming).

No thats not planned ;) Probably your physics settings are off. Go to settings>game and check the physical animation setting.

The dragon idea is far from dumb. Pretty interesting. Could even be a shapeshifting one. Or an oriental snakelike dragon, coiling around. And a further addition, even if challenging. Centaurs. For riding around on and partnering of course.

VR (or stereo projection) is not working for me when using the updated keybind or when rebinding and pressing that key, huge bummer! I understand VR isnt a top priority for this project, but just wanted to bring that to your attention.

The Idea is that the 25$ builds are released some time in advance to our Member tier supporters to play earlier. They then give us feedback about improvements they want, additions, bugs, and balances which we work into the game as we can. Then 1-2 weeks later we release the worked up version of that build for all other tiers (public, 5$ and 10$).

Do NOT attempt to swim, it is very broken. Although it is hilarious to watch the ragdoll physics go absolutely ape-shit when you slam into the shallow end at 500 mph. Aside from that, there's a 0.8 second stutter after leaving the pause menu and whenever the camera turns sharply or in a direction I haven't viewed for a set amount of time. Roughly 10 seconds and up facing one direction and turning casually 180 degrees causes the same 0.8 second stutter. I attempted to mess with the options to reduce this but I only got it down to 0.5 seconds. I only bring this up because that slight stutter can cause the camera to jerk HARD and mess you up when flying and/or walking narrow cliffs. I never had this issue before this update. Aside from these two things absolutely fantastic job! EDIT: I was able to confirm the issue, it was the textures. I double-checked and realized it was the one option I didn't test. It's still odd considering I've never had this issue before in previous versions.

The game is planned to release several story lines. The first one we are developing is for Maya (the tribal girl). Future ones will then also feature a male character instead. You can also play as any character in our planned "sandbox" mode.

Yeah the whole water/swim behavior is still very very work in progress. Also could you tell me what hardware you use? Not everyone has that stutter and it might have to do with memory speeds or other hardware performance matters.

Can you explain this issue in more detail? Is the sex just not outputting any sounds? Have you checked your sound sliders in the audio settings?

I currently use a Intel Core i7-8700 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. If you need more info just say so. It might be due to additional clutter/foilage that's causing the stutter.

i noticed that steam VR booted up everytime i started the game, how do you go into VR mode or is that not an option yet?

The game has a simple vr video support. If you have an HMD plugged in you can press Alt+V (Newly changed to Alt+o) while ingame and it will switch output form your regular monitor to stereo vr. Currently only video output is supported so control still goes via Mouse+Keyboard which can make UI navigation a bit troublesome, but we will work on improving that as well. Any updates on the VR integration? Even having simple UI inside the headset and some rudimentary controller support would be a huge improvement. It's really hard to go in and out of VR all the time

I found a very minor problem: when you click outside the game’s window, all noise cuts out as expected, EXCEPT for the footsteps of NPCs in your radius. In a sense, it’s kind of eerie. XD

Love the new update! Although there needs to be more gangbang positions. Maybe a tag team option as well with DAP AND DVP etc. Perhaps even a minotaur tag team with some DP would be hot! All in all still love it and keep up the good work

New subscriber here, loved the current build and overall feel of the game. two things I thought that would improve the current state would be an option to increase the size of male penises, felt the wolf one seemed a bit small (i get that the sizes work with fitting the vagina mesh but the option to oversize it would still be good even if it clips over because of its size). secondly the female skin with the witch doctor looking tribal would be good if you could get a pale skin version with the same tribal as it seems to either stay dark or change to RGB colors.

Could you include nipple and vagina options in a future release? Like with the nipples, add areola and nipple (arousal) sizes, and with the vagina add a few different labia looks to choose from?

Widlife requires a higher graphic card at least memory of 3-4GB, to run the game smoothly at 30fps or more at high to max settings. Can something be done so that the game would run at least 30fps in 2GB graphics cards at the same time at high settings?

I think it can, but optimizing is a rather long term progress and has its highest priority more toward the finishing line rather than in the middle of production, so you probably shouldnt expect a big performance change anytime soon. But be assured that we will definitely work on improving performance and do a big step in that direction when the game is almost done.

You just start it and choose the Play option. There is no "full game" in the game, but you get to test the mechanics and the sex play. Do not expect a story yet, or something more... rounded. Look at the control scheme to get a hint of what's possible at this point.

Is there controller support? My controller isn’t registering. But it works fine in steam and other games.
