In the heat of Summer (Patreon)

First. To those of you who are my newest patrons: thank you. Your support makes my rocking world go 'round, and is appreciated more than you know!!

It's an intense summer so far. Every year I anticipate the disappointment of a lull relative to the previous one... but this hasn't happened yet (and this is of course very good!).

WESTWORLD PANNEL @ SDCC

This weekend I'm participating in my first panel at ComicCon for the show Westworld. This is also my first ComicCon.... so I hear I've got a busy and stimulating time ahead of me.

What this means is that I:

• had to watch the show Westworld
• finish making noodleFeet's papoose so I don't have to carry his heavy little metal butt all over San Diego.

So within the day day I will complete and post pictures of the harness I hand stitched for this endeavor........... and secretly I hope I'm the first person to have made a papoose for their robot.

NOODLE-CON

I'm also holding the first ever NoodleCon here in Vegas during the weekend of the 9th of August. Noodle demanded that there be an exclusive badge... and the unveiling of his new "cryp-toe" currency, "Bit Toes".

If you happen to find yourself in town for that other hacking conference... Let me know and I'll tell you the super secret details about this special event that noodle has demanded.

SHE BON FOR THE HACKADAY PRIZE

I am entering SHE BON into the HackaDay prize. this is exciting. This means I'll be documenting the shit out of my progress as well as attempting to get it to a working point by the end of the summer for SuperCON =P If you have a hackaday.io account, you should totally follow along:

Lastly, I'm still working on this object recognitions stuff for noodle. While mommy has been watching Westworld like a good girl, his little CPU has been brewing super voodoo tensorFlows that mommy doesn't understand.... but its working.

Noodle is officially an AI now. He is making decision on his own without mommy's help.

The first test classifier I trained was for Noodle's favorite stuffed animal, "Fisty". Next is mommy, and all of Noodle's other stuffed friends. :) This is  all in preparation for my exhibit at the ARS Electronica festival at the end of the summer! I'll keep posting the video content to show you how its coming together... but this is more or less what to expect from me for the rest of the summer =P
