Here's the full version of our visit to the Chateau du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci lived from 1516 until his death in 1519. I'm very happy to be able to share it with you all, and hope you enjoy it as much as I did! It felt magical to be in such a special place...

Ahh can't wait to watch!!

Anonymous

Luv it!

Anonymous

Don't get me wrong, I love ALL your videos. But I don't contribute to Patreon for travel / tour videos. I contribute to help fund repairs at the Chateau and get extra content regarding that renovation progress and updates on LaLande, itself.

Anonymous

So inspirational!

Anne Green

Thank you very much Stephanie ☺️ & as this has just come through I’ll watch it now 💫 x

Karen Nicholson

I have just found your chateau on youtube and am loving it so much that I decided to become a patron. Wishing you all the best on your great endeavors!

Anonymous

Thank you for sharing Stephanie. I love these regional cultural experiences. You share things most people aren't aware of or wouldn't think to see. I have a much greater appreciation for France since watching your videos.

Anonymous

I never knew this place existed and I really enjoyed this experience thank you 💕

Anonymous

What a lovely place. So much history and culture. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Anonymous

Love these videos.

Anonymous

I love been taken on your days out.

Anonymous

I can travel without leaving new York.Right now that works.lol

Anonymous

I appreciate the chateaux more by learning about all of these places.

Anne Green

I’ve just watched it & boy 😮 what a treat you have given us 💕 An amazing & very generous & thoughtful video tour to share with us all - Thank you Sooo much Stephanie it was truly wonderful 🥂 xx

Thank you 😊

I really really want to visit France before I die. My mom just passed and she never left the southeast of the U.S I don't want to regret not going

Anonymous

JOE DIRT...you can totally make this happen! Mum will go with you in spirit. xx

Anonymous

Oh my goodness!!! This was wonderful!! I absolutely loved every second of this. Thank you for sharing this with us, Steph! I can't wait to see it (and you) in person. Sigh.

Anonymous

With each new travel video, I become more obsessed with my dream to visit France. Thank you for sharing this beautiful country with all of us. I feel more cultured now.

Anonymous

Thank you, Stephanie. It's like having virtual tours ❤️❤️

Anonymous

What a lovely day! The museum is outstanding and the grounds are wonderful! ~k

Anonymous

Perhaps the building site that was just discovered recently by Davey was once a pigeonniere.

Anonymous

What a beautiful place, and so well preserved. The painted beams were gorgeous! I am so hoping you find similar treasure under the plaster at Lalande. What a gift that would be. The pop-up book you were gifted was so cool! Could you maybe post some close-up pics of it so we can have a better look? I hope the weather is wonderful and you are all doing well at Lalande. <3 <3 <3

Anonymous

Beautiful. I feel like we haven't seen many lalande updates lately, would love to see whats going on with all the works!

Teagan Straw

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I miss the renovation focus that patron once was. We have not had a proper start of the month update since April - rather a series of mini updates if anything at all. We seem to be simply getting extra footage of your travels of late. I’d prefer that since so much is happening at the chateau and so much of the YouTube content is being taken up but your travels that we see what has been happening whilst you have been away. I know a lot of people love the travel content. Personally that’s not why I became interested in your channel and I find myself skimming through those videos for any random little updates and hopping to find out more of what is happening back at lalande. Have we progressed with the downstairs loo and China pantry? Has the chapel restoration man arrived? Updates on the lake survey? What is happening with Natis apartment? Updates on the garden and the new watering system? I love following the Chateaus journey and learning about the behind the scenes of organising such a renovation but sadly that seems to be missing from patron lately.

Anonymous

AMAZING- thank you so much for taking us along!!!!!

Anonymous

What a beautiful and splendid chateau. Thank you so much for sharing it with us; and thank you also for all the historical tidbits. For instance, I did not know about da Vinci's likely vegetarianism! Merci beaucoup!

Anonymous

Well said. And we’ve already seen 2/3 of this content on the YouTube video. Really wasn’t much extra today. I would much rather see Lalande life and renovation progress. Just being honest 🙂

Anonymous

Fabulous vid, S. Adding this to visit list when next in France. 🥂

Anonymous

Thank you for the video. I really enjoyed seeing the home and grounds where Leonardo was. As to comments on the Patreon account, I appreciate the opportunity to see other chateaus and ideas for La Lande that seem to inspire Stephanie for the improvements there. Two for one benefit for me, I get to visit somewhere I may never go and get to see how Stephanie is inspired. The updates on the chateau are always welcome as well! Thank you!

Anonymous

Thanks for taking us along Steph! It was so lovely!

Anonymous

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I would like to point out something. The content Stephanie has been providing for the last year is phenomenal. Normal one hour television shows are made by over a hundred people: writers, director, editors, actors, costumers, etc. Stephanie and Philip and a couple of volunteers have been giving us over two and a half hours of programming a week. There is something of interest to me in all the content especially the interviews, but I’m happy seeing extra footage vlogs as well. Thank you.

Anonymous

Thank you for that lovely inspiring tour. My list of things to do and places to visit is growing, and I have you, Stephanie, to thank for that.

Anonymous

I have to say that I agree. I want to know about what is going on at Laland, not these other random chateaus. It’s losing something here. I love the dairy aspect of the daily life at Laland. Otherwise I would watch a French travel channel. Stephanie, you do it well though. Just explaining a preference. It’s the cameraderie and activity, projects and seeing your chateau that we want.

Anonymous

Thanks for the memories this brought back for me visiting about 15 years ago, mainly remember all those inventions in the basement, and totally forgot that I 'd already visited Château Royal d'Amboise after thinking what a fascinating place that would be to visit ;)

Anonymous

Really enjoy getting to see France through these videos.

Anonymous

I would prefer updates and videos of your chateau and what’s going on as opposed to today’s video-we did get to see some of this chateau the other day. Not that it’s not informative but just my opinion.

Anonymous

I too do not like the extra footage each week. I want to see more of La Lande and have updates. The patreon vlogs have changed and I'm not interested in watching them at the moment.

Anonymous

Love ALL your content, Stephanie! But to echo the sentiment of some of the other patrons, I sure am missing the La Lande-specific content. The monthly updates are my very favorite!

Anonymous

Hi dear Stephanie. Is so happy about your vlogs, follows your aspirations and the success you have achieved thanks to Youtube. I want a tour where you also show where the rooms are located on the drawing you have on the wall in your office. Is so difficult to keep up with in the different rooms. Are there no bedrooms on the ground floor? Are all the bedrooms one or more stairs up? Is so curious will at the end of October come for 2 nights at B&B. Greetings Marianne from Sweden

Anonymous

I am looking forward to a complete plan for the restoration of the lake, as promised, from Davy, with costs, deadlines, and a start date. That remodelling, with all new electrics and plumbing for the outbuildings, and a formal garden, are being installed before the lake/ steps/ facade/ drainage issues are restored seems topsy turvy to the original restoration goals in your Patreon plan PDF.

Ramon

Though interesting I miss the monthly updates. Now and then some travelling is ok, but lately it became more of a travel and party chanel and that's not what I came for I must admit. So many great projects started but not completed and no end in sight. Anyway todays video was sadly mostly repetition. All the excitement for certain cool projects but then you never hear again from them, let alone see anything. It seems even less is done than before when there were less funds. Why don't you stay at home for a month and just finish some projects? It must be tiresome for you to travel, too? If the chatelaine is away nobody gets things done imo.

Anonymous

Delightful trip back in time and I had no idea about his last years and how the Louvre was so lucky to get his most famous works of art. Thank you for this historic adventure.

Anonymous

Please may we have updates on the LaLande restoration

Anonymous

I’m sure being a patron is much more that accounting for all your contributions. This page shares other content that non- patrons don’t get to see. I think Stephanie’s patron videos are well balanced. Also, let’s not forget, they have just come out of lockdown. They should all be allowed to venture out!

Anonymous

I agree with the comments above. If organising isn’t your forte , then please use some of your funds to employ an experienced project manager who can oversee the works and get them done for you. They could report on here only. Just saying, as we’ve done the same in our company and it has made a huge difference.

Anonymous

Thank you Stephanie for this. It brings back great memories for we have visited this glorious place many times when we lived in the Centre region. What an amazing man Leonardo was, so ahead of his time. Love from the Dordogne xx

Anonymous

I assumed Stephanie was trying to promote other chateau channels and help them! It must of been awful during lockdown with no customers/business. As Queen of YouTube isn’t she just trying to help them and support their businesses. With a meal or two on the way and a little laughter…. We’ve been in lockdown for heavens sake x

Anonymous

I can understand the urge to get out and about after lockdown but I too am disappointed with this week's patron extra. Would have much preferred an update about Lalande.

Anonymous

Thank you for all that you show us Stephanie ...I love it all. I love sharing your joy 💕xx

Anonymous

I'm happy for those history lessons with, you, Stephanie! You are a formidable and clever communicator of knowledge with an overview of what is important, wise and fun about such tourist visits. Thank you very much !

Anonymous

Very well said, Linda! I truly appreciate all of your hard work, Stephanie; it gives so many so much joy.

Anonymous

I really enjoyed this video, I hope to visit there post travel restrictions.

Anonymous

I really used to enjoy the earlier YouTube vlogs where Stephanie was with Gerry and her mum etc. I think the majority of Patrons and YouTube subscribers probably prefer what the chanel is now, more about parties and travel. I would love to know if there is a vlog out there if anyone renovating a French chateau where the focus really is on renovation , preferably DIY, so I can vicariously live out my dream 😁👍.

Anonymous

Regarding the downstairs loo, Stephanie said another problem had come up that has delayed things again and the man doing the Chapel, not expected til July anyway, has injured himself so again more delays out of Stephanies hands xx

Anonymous

I loved it , thank you !

Anonymous

The same happens to me. I get a little lost sometimes. I would add to your request to use Dan’s drone shots to point out where on the grounds Davi is making his discoveries. Stephanie mentioned that it would be nice to rebuild the tower and the wall going to it if I remember correctly. It would be nice if that could be drawn on the map or drone shot to have a better idea of what it would look like. 😊

Anonymous

Stephanie, I can't tell you how much you have inspired me with your simplest joys in life. My life is so extremely different that the people at La Lande and I think that is what is so intriguing to me and keeps me coming back day after day to all these video's. I have never watched a tv show that made me want to grab each tea cup I have collected, turn it over and investigate the markings through Google. I almost always leave your video's and start researching where you have been, what you are reading or even looking up the Gurnay wallpaper. Never heard of it in my life but was in love as soon as I saw the book on your video. Thanks for all the culture and entertainment you have added to my life. It has been a wonderful journey!

Anonymous

I also want to thank Philipp as well as he is brilliant. He represents my own sons generation and is very similar as my son in that if he likes something, he knows everything about it. The friendship and work relationship between the two of you is so complimentary and fun to watch.

Anonymous

More Chateau De LaLande on Patreon please.

Anonymous

I'd love to see more of LaLande in the vlogs. It's nice to see the other places once in a while though.

Anonymous

I’m afraid I agree with a lot of others the restoration seems to have gone by the board such a shame I really liked it

Anonymous

While I like seeing the travel videos and have discovered other chateau's through your visits I was rather disappointed to have a travel video as a patreon update. I even found myself fast forwarding to see parts that weren't already shown on the youtube version. I don't mind extra footage vlogs as long as they are of lalande works and would be ok with a video like this from time to time but I feel, like other's, that this is all we have received lately.

Anonymous

i loves the video, but i do feel that about half was in the youtube vlog :/

Anonymous

Agree with some of the other patrons here about the content of late. While travel videos are nice, there are thousands of them on YouTube but nor many French chateau renovation videos. May have to reconsider my patreon contribution in the next month or so.

Anonymous

Just seen the Chateau on Le Tour De France!

James

Thanks so much loved the tour and just love the energy between you and Phillip. I know it must be so much fun to be able to get out and about again :). Thank you for taking us all along, but we do love to see what is going on back home so very much as well.

Anonymous

Loved it !! Thanks Stephanie :)

Anonymous

This was lovely. I got chills watching the immersive gallery room footage. And I think you definitely need a faux bois bridge at Lalande!

James

Oh almost forgot :) new Patron here and was wondering if any of the other Patrons near Ottawa Canada might want to have a Lalonde Tea party sometime when Covid allows. Lots of great locations Billings Estate or in Gatineau Park :) tag me or this comment :) Hugs to all :)

Anonymous

I think we are all missing Feeling a part of what’s happening at the Château. Is your filming of Château DIY keeping us from knowing about the improvements made recently?

Anonymous

I too have noticed the content shift. What’s happening with the apartments, the lake, even the gardens? Perhaps an overall synopsis would help. And if there are delays, please share them.

Anonymous

I like the way you do these Patreon vlogs Gives me another in depth view.

Anonymous

As a patron, I would like to see what is happening with Nati’s apartment, the downstairs toilet, the China pantry, Scotsman’s apartment, the plans for your boudoir, the attics. I would like an update on the lake, the peacock room (Have you replaced the wallpaper etc.). Don’t get me wrong … I enjoy seeing the other chateaus and enjoy watching them on YouTube, but on this channel … I am more interested to see how the restoration of LaLande is progressing!!

Anonymous

I hope the building supplies are back on the shelves in France. In the July patreon update, could we hear more about what's coming up next for the Chapel? It's my favorite place at Lalande, besides the kitchen :) Thanks for taking us along on your recent summer travels.

Anonymous

I too loved to see the everyday life at the chateau, I do love all your vlogs but a do miss the daily life!!

Anonymous

Nothing is really happening - that's why we haven't seen anything. :-)

Anonymous

The man who is supposed to repair the chapel fell off a ladder so until he heals that's on hold.

Anonymous

Thank you for the variety of vlogs you are producing. I enjoy them all... enjoy seeing LaLande and your travels as well. I appreciate your hard work and the plethora of videos you produce. You spoil us.

Anonymous

After almost 2 years stuck in the chateau, I would think Stephanie is entitled to a few weekends off. Also nothing is really going on at the chateau - shes explained why things are delayed or on hold in other videos.

Anonymous

I was really struck by how you said the current owner. I forget how this building have such long lives spanning multiple owners and family that get to live in them

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie. I am so happy you are getting some time away and able to take us with you, being locked away for so long we all deserve time off. Its disappointing others do not recognize that creative people have to fuel their souls. Best wishes, I wish I had half your patience.

Anonymous

What a beautiful video - thanks. I had no idea Leonardo’s place in France was so interesting, I must get there one day. You’re such an influencer Stephanie - I just bought !artin Kemp’s book too ! 😊

Anonymous

I can only guess that our funds are being used for the filming of Chateau DYI. That’s a shame I was happy to contribute to see the happens of the renovations but what’s the point now? This content was already shown why are we seeing it again?

Anonymous

Thankyou so much for sharing. How incredible and inspirational it is 😍

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, this is George. Whilst I totally understand there are some who only like the chateau vlogs, and they are perfectly entitled to their opinion, I just want to say, that you do so much work for our benefit and make high quality videos both educational and entertaining that I'm happy to go wherever you take us. It should be remembered that, for most of us, you got us through the shock and loneliness of lockdown. For which I will be forever grateful and that's why I'm a patron. More power to you and I'll be here rooting for you. Always. George and Donna x

Kimberly Dale

Love all you do...Don't let anyone dull your sparkle💛😊🙏✨🌻💛

Anonymous

Thank you for the vlog, Stephanie. You open a window to the beautiful things that are out there in the world to see.

Anonymous

You realize she’s been locked up at home for the last year and half like the rest of the world right?? And the work doesn’t stop just because she’s not there. Not to mention all the difficulties in getting building supplies right now.

Anonymous

Stephanie has already told us that Patreon monies will not be used for Chateau DIY projects.

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie. I want to sort of sum up. Yes, of course, travel and enjoy. And your videos are always so well done! It is like watching a tv show. It’s just that for so many of us we are transfixed by the everyday of your life at LaLand and becoming a patron was/is like becoming a part of the rebirth of LaLande and even, in a way, feeling like we are part of the happy crew who lives there! Regular life for most everyone means NOT living in a chateau and not having fun people around to help with the day to day. So Chateau Dairies is a bit of regular life escapism to someone else’s life. That’s why it’s a different feeling than the tourism bit. It’s not just we love chateaus. Your magic formula has been the living there day to day frustrations and laughter…. It s wonderful. It must be hard to hear some dissent from us patrons.. I hope I explained and encouraged a bit.

Anonymous

I’m a brand new Patreon. I felt so guilty for enjoying hour upon hour of your videos that I felt compelled to pitch in. So here’s a fun fact. When I close my eyes at night after a stressful day and I picture my happy place to bring on sweet dream, I picture your chateau and all your lovely friends. It calms me and I’m able to sleep. I can’t tell you, as everyone else here says, how much I’ve enjoyed your vlog. Thank you for sharing your home, friends and life with us.

Janese Carstens

While I agree I think the lake restoration timing and costs are mostly out of Stephanie’s control as they have to work with the local government’s timeline. I’m hoping the other information will come soon.

Anonymous

I LOVE your travels and learning the history of so many different places. Thank you very much for always taking us along so we can learn something new!

Anonymous

Thank you Stephanie for another great video. I enjoy the variety and quality of content that you produce. You have a talent for presenting any subject in a way that is both educational and entertaining. You have opened my eyes to a lifestyle and landscape that's completely different from my own and sparked an interest in things that never would of crossed my mind before. Thanks again for the great content and escapism you provide....P.S. I am glad you intersperse a variety of other subjects in between the lulls in renovation updates.

Anonymous

Agreed. I'm hovering over the cancel button as I just don't want to watch travel videos or other chateaus. It's not what I am here for.

Clarissa Olivier

I Love love love this content, I find the Chateau diaries is better than TV, Thank you for all the beautiful places and lovely adventures. It is a wonderful thing to behold.

Anonymous

Anonymous

I think what a lot of people fail to see is that, while yes, obviously we all want to see more lalande footage, stephanie is creating four videos a week. And when youre filming and editing that, and also traveling that same week, its difficult to have enough footage (and time) to have completely separate content for each video, including patreon. Ive worried for a while that we're burning the candle at both ends just trying to keep up with that cadence of videos, and because of that, the sentiment that folks are saying reused clips and exclusively travel videos happen. But also, France has only recently opened up, so Im sure we are getting the travel that was planned and pushed for a long time, so it can seem like a lot. Its a tough situation all around, I think.

Heidi Panella

I agree. I choose to support her regardless, I'm not going to be upset about it. I still love her content because she is such a joy to watch and it's still IMO better that anything on TV. It's real, it's honest and its downright hilarious sometimes. All the Lalanders are wonderful people and the fact that they return all the time and sometimes stay indefinitely speaks volumes as to what kind of person she is to live with. And after she was sick in the beginning of the year I don't think we want that again. Lets give her a break and be supportive, that is what we signed up for after all. I personally loved seeing this chateau, very interesting history lesson and beautiful.

Anonymous

Love love love the content! I also love that as we are emerging from lockdown y’all are able to go on all of these adventures. There will be plenty of time for updates. Enjoy being out and about. ❤️

Anonymous

I too am a new Patron and I joined for similar reason Shar. Stephanie and the team are a joy!

Anonymous

Stephanie, you do you, that's why we follow and love you and support the chateau! You have never failed us, and we know your work at the chateau is ambitious and ongoing. You live that work every day and deserve a break. I don't think any of us would be sitting back watching the paint dry when we could travel, learn and see beautiful places and things with the people we love. Work will always be there, and you have assured us that things are moving at the pace the Universe allows. Things take time to happen. Also, you work so often and put so much of yourself into your videos, you need to do what is best for you, fill your cup, and follow your intuition. I am always here to support you and Lalande, no matter what.

Anonymous

Your visit inside the gift shop has me thinking about LaLande “merch” (as the cool kids say). I wonder if anyone could help facilitate an online store representing LaLande. I would love things such as: Christmas baubles, stationery, pens, wrapping paper, computer images for screen savers, shirts with hedgehogs representing Philip, shirts with flowers representing the gardens & Mummy, decorative plates (!) featuring LaLande or even bits of your father’s precious artwork….oh, what about a book of your father’s artwork? A coffee table book of LaLande would be amazing! I feel so invested now in your lovely spirit & home that I would love to have tangible piece of that magic that is LaLande! xoxo

Anonymous

I can do an online store for Stephanie. I have over 15 years e-commerce experience. Would take nothing to get the website going, but a lot in terms of product selection.

Anonymous

I’d have come away with the paper dolls. My home is full of Van Gogh prints and those of Georges Suerat. I may have to squeeze in some DaVinci.

Anonymous

Thank you Stephanie and Philip this was absolutely delightful! I have so missed travelling this past year and I love that you take us on these wonderful journeys discovering new cultural places in France. Thank you both🌸

Anonymous

Gosh, imagine if Leonardo da vinci did build those buildings!

Anonymous

I am happy to watch what you Stephanie, gives us. Yes I adore seeing info about what the plans are at La lande and seeing the changes being done. But this is still great, and yes some of it is free on YouTube, but I pay $$ to know I am part of the restoration of La lande, some as at. Thank you Stephanie

Denise Behrends

Stephanie, I adore your sparkle that always shines through, and your gift for curating glamour wherever you travel! The sentiment seems to be that we have become so drawn into the Lalande lifestyle, that we simply cannot get enough of the glimpses behind the scenes! You have created a magical place, and we love being included in the daily routines of the chateau, as well as the unfolding of all the restoration work that we have been fortunate to be a part of in this journey. It’s always interesting to hear your thoughts regarding how various design ideas you observe on your travels can be customized to Lalande—a place which is always in your heart, wherever your travels take you.

Daniel Hammond

I really enjoy the travel vlogs. Hopefully once The Plague ends (if it ever does) you will be able to travel further afield again. To be honest and no disrespect to Leonardo, but I prefer Lalande to this chateau. Clos is a little too perfect for my tastes such as they are. Whereas Lalande has many imperfections and discrepancies and for me, they make it more interesting as a building, quite apart from the personalities living within it. Thank you for the video.

Anonymous

Love both. After being stuck in one place for so long I really like the mix of Lalande AND the places further afield that we cannot otherwise get to. Really love the one you did last year at the Priory gardens with Isabelle, Marie and Antoine. I would never have otherwise known these were there. I think just film what you enjoy and want to share and don’t feel a commitment to please everyone and you just never will.

(From Anabel’s mom, Jacqueline, as she’s six!) This was so lovely! I wrote a series of poems about Leonardo, specifically his time here, although I’d only seen it in photographs. This video delighted me! I’ll need to revisit my poems now. Thank you!

Anonymous

I love these visits to historical places! I enjoyed seeing DaVinci’s work room, the inventions and the art in the gardens. Well done! Thank you!

The zoo reynou in Limoges has the same bridges in their gardens. Loved the tour guys… thanks 😊 x

I'm happy with the content Stephanie offers, and her travel vlogs have always been a part of the channel (think back to travels to Venice, Egypt, Amsterdam, NY and London - and the trip right before lockdown (Vietnam, I think!). But, I do enjoy the updates about Lalande and I love to see Stephanie involved (hands-on) in restoration projects, not just behind the camera, as she is so talented with sewing, etc. I'd love to see more vlogs with a focus on going room to room, perhaps seeing what needs to be done to give it a mini-upgrade -- from furnishings to repairs, perhaps tied to patreon goals or giving patrons a choice, lamp A or lamp B (that sort of thing). I think several projects were filmed for Chateau DIY and I'd love to see those when possible. I completely understand that projects move slowly -- my own front stairs are patiently waiting for lumber to arrive. I'd absolutely LOVE for Stephanie to start work on an online shop and in-person gift shop would be fun, too -- even if I don't have the chance to shop in-person (video tour would be fun -- what's new in the shop this week). I'm a big fan and love the channel.

Anonymous

Stephanie is so caring and generous. Every time she visits another Chateau, she gives them a chance to enjoy the success that she has worked so hard to achieve. I appreciate that immensely, as I'm sure do the other chateau owners.

Anonymous

Watching Stephanie is like a breath of fresh air..with such generosity of spirit and love. I'm looking forward to enjoying each addition and hopefully to one day visit in person.

Anonymous

Oh my gosh, I loved this! Thank you for sharing!

Anonymous

Stephanie Would u mind providing a Patreon project update in an upcoming vlog? Thank you

Anonymous

I love Stephanie. I do miss Isabelle as that relationship was the very soul of the show. I enjoy all content though I have reduced watching some of chateau ones but that was about me finding them not as interesting due to seeing them on DIY not the content. One wish for me is that there is more of Stephanie rather than Stephanie and Philip. Before anyone thinks I don’t like Philip that is absolutely not the case…love his puns….it just seems to have morphed into the Stephanie and Philip vlog ….Philip is an ever present….in fact often seen more than Stephanie….for me the show is at its best when it is stephanie and her band of Merry la landers ….wondering who you will see on this weeks show….but hey sure I am in a circle if one! Roll on Isabelle coming back…she is just the best!

Anonymous

Dear Stephanie, I loved the format of this video. Hearing from each member of the household is delightful and allows us, as Patrons, to “get to know them” better. I had a bit of a surprise, learning you only have guests Thursdays through Monday as I am planning a trip for next April with two friends to stay at Lalande. I will be in Paris for a month, leaving on April 14th to drive to spend two nights at La Fleur, then to stay in the Tours area over the Easter weekend, and was planning to book two rooms at Lalande Monday, April 18 - Thursday or Friday of that week. We assumed the chateau would be full of your friends for the Easter weekend so didn’t choose those dates. Now I am not sure how to plan. Any ideas? We are off to Amsterdam on April 22nd. Renting a car after being in Paris is all about coming to visit you, the amazing Lalanders, and staying at the chateau! We are stopping at La Fleur thanks to your introduction via your vlog. Hopefully we can work out something! If you’d like to communicate directly, my email is ccp0123@aol.com Thank you so much!❤️

I love all the contents of your patron videos the plan for the China pantry looks fantastic Ian did a good job on yhe plan Stephanie I love also when we here what other members are doing in the Chateau please just continue with your bubbly and infectious personality thank you so much

Anonymous

Very impressed with the china pantry design, well done Ian. Love the idea of full update once a month. You’ll never please everyone with your decisions as hard as you may try, so you may as well do what you think is best, you work so hard on all your videos and it’s much appreciated.

Anonymous

Thank you for writing this. It has frustrated me off and on when people nit pick over minute dislikes in videos when the entirety of the beauty portrayed is missed. It's like there's always a few people in a large group who miss the point. Truly, Stephanie hasn't failed us, I just wish she'd know this and stay on course, and not respond to a few people who probably find fault everywhere.

Anonymous

What a treat the chateaux du close luce. The China pantry will be a gathering place all will want to be there, just a !Lovely design

Theresa Romero

I love your plan of monthly update on first Wednesdays! You share so much with all of us, and your videos are always very well executed and full of fun, creativity, history, and harmonious relationships between lively people. I can’t tell you how much they lift my spirits, every time. 💗

Anonymous

I was simply enthralled as Davey revealed this impressive master plan and you reacted 'in real time'. Thanks for sharing such a special moment with us! I love the plans (and the many helpful comments folks have made) and can't wait to see it all unfold over time. It means that there's even more to look forward to!!

Anonymous

Your circle is probably bigger than you think -it has been nice to have Stephanie featured and lessPhilip. She is the star!

Anonymous

Thank you Stephanie as always, and Philip. The work that goes into these vlogs is amazing. Very appreciated , and when we cant travel, its lovely to escape. Your knowledge and presentation is an inspiration to me. I love all the extras we get on here in Patreon. I love your travels, your trips to brocantes, the garden, and the cooking and aperitifs in the Chateau. I love the renovations, but appreciate that there is a lot going on with building works at the moment. Cant wait until these are revealed. I’m really happy being a Patreon and love your transparency, and I feel that people should be honest but I think need to give Stephanie and Philip a break! The rest of the team are working and volunteering keeping all the cogs of the wheels at the Chateau turning, so Stephanie can broaden our horizons. Love you all 💜

I definitely have to add this place to my travel list. But why would he give his vegetarian chef a cloak lined in leather?????

Oh! You passed by a projection of one of my favorite paintings, the Ginevra de Benci portrait. It’s the only da Vinci painting in the USA, and it’s where I live so I’ve visited her many times. Photos don’t do her justice, they don’t capture the luminosity of her skin nor the impenetrable depth of the background. Leonardo also did a play upon her name with a painting of juniper branches on the back. That portrait, along with Lady with an Ermin are my favorite da Vinci’s.
