How Beautiful is Marie, so calming and gentle. It will be sad, when Marie leaves Lalande. I've sort of been hoping, she would be offered a permanent job at the Chateau 😁 I do know, she has plans for the future, but she has been a part of the crew, and the vlogs for so long. Her delicious meals, amazing flowers for any occasion - and just, her personality seems to be an asset to have for the Chateau. Stephanie, maybe consider, (if possible!), a sort of part time position as cook, maybe 3-4 days a week, plus official Chateau florist, as needed? With maybe a possibility of a small appartement, like Natis, down the line? She could then still work on building her social media 😃 It might, in future, be possible for you to collaborate on food and floristry/art workshops, and she could even, if she wanted, go work for others, like Selmar now has his license to work in France, but is based at Lalande 🙂 I just thought, that this might tip the scale in favour of Lalande, because she would have some steady income, and freedom to still persue other goals 😁 I don't have all the answers, and certainly don't know everybodies circumstances, or plans, but I just thought, it might be worth putting it out there? 🙂

Thank you for Interviewing Marie. I love that we have been able to follow her along her journey. She inspires me with her positive outlook and her love and passion for all things beautiful in life. One day I would love to meet her and chat about all things floral. As a 33 year old with out my own children I have also thought about fostering children when my husband and I buy a home. I have always enjoyed giving back to my community and Marie inspires me to get back into it. Love her love.

Marie Marie Marie!!!!! I’ve always seen you as a very private person, wanting to keep things to yourself and being just on the edge of what’s going on around the chateau. It was a true pleasure to hear a small part of your story and your future hopes, I’m sure you have made many peoples life’s better without them realising it…. I imagine that some months ago Marie would not have wanted to do this interview. It is sooo refreshing to hear her talk about her passions and her determination to make it happen. Wonderful interview, Stephanie. You are friends by chance, but very much sisters by choice. The bond between you is so lovely. I remember the vlog when mummy chased after Marie, and I remember you, Stephanie, trying to protect Marie from Mummy. Oh I laughed so hard! Marie has become such an important part of the journey of restoring Lalande. We will definitely all miss her when she leaves. But no matter where Marie goes in her life, it's pretty clear she will always have a special place waiting for her at Lalande. <3

Marie is so mature in her planning and working toward her goals. She has grown so much in the 2 years she has been at Lalande. She knows what she would like to do and is working toward it. Marie, first of all you are so beautiful!! Wow!!! I am sitting here watching this in love with your lipstick color, eye shadow, and that gorgeous blouse, too. So now that the shallow part of my observation has been stated…😬… I want to add that you have such a loving and philanthropic heart. You are still so young.. I believe all your dreams will come true, some just as you imagine, and others in ways that will completely surprise you. Agree, I was going to say something similar. For future interviews can the camera be put back on a stand like you used to do and it just be Steph and the interviewee? Don't get me wrong, I adore Phillip but it didn't have the same private feel about it like the others have. If that makes sense. Also, I had to listen to it vs watching because the slight consistent up and down movement was making me a little seasick.

Marie! Finally we get a he interview! 🙌🏼. Loved it. Marie to see al your futures endeavors and pray al the most for you. A kind hearted young lady is what we need more. As I was listening to your interview, I realized that you have many trades as I do. Then forgot that you are a Taurus! Maybe we truly are similar, meaning Tauruses! Lol! I too love people but I do require my own time and place. And get bothered when my plans or days don’t go as I had intended. I often now get on my own nerves! ☺️😂I’m not as organized as I used to be. But I’m much older Marie, and have learn life is short! Cannot sweat the small stuff. But what an inspiration you have been for me alone. But also to so many around the world. My husband and I were foster parents and my dream has always been to create housing for children that need it and restoring houses to help them find themselves and their future. It has been a dream, and I hope you are able to fulfill my dream.

A very heartfelt and heart opening interview. Marie is a strong woman - being a Taurus does help with determination and creating comfortable spaces for sure. I agree with others above that it didn't feel as private or intimate as previous conversations with Philip weighing in from behind the camera. These set pieces need to staged more thoughtfully. Set the camera up on a tripod and recreate that feeling that it's just us eavesdropping on you two having a chat. There was something odd about the angle as well - the foreshortening of both your otherwise delightful thighs was most unflattering. I do agree that 'Marie's Wiikends' is genious though.
