Here are the questions of Cat's Lalande quiz - they're in the attached pdf. Alongside, you'll find 4 music files that you'll need for the music round!

I'll post the answers along with the edited Zoom call soon.

Wow! I've been following you for almost one year but I couldn't even get started with this quiz! Awful! lol The only question I knew for sure was who's more likely to miss a plane... lol and did miss some last year lol!

The YouTube comments were the hardest as I don't follow the chat that much anymore as it moves too fast and gives me a headache. Recently dipped into it and thought some of the comments distasteful - too rude 😳.

ooh! ooh! Ooh! I got 2 of the 4 songs right and all of the imogi-fied songs. I failed everything else. This was fun. And it took a lot of work to do it. So grateful.

This was fun! Definitely a difficult quiz for me. I think I have answers a third of the questions, if that!!! My best category was the intro - I think I could recite it in my sleep! 😅 very tempted to watch a chateau diaries video to double check but will patiently await the results! Thanks for doing this - very fun! Special thanks to Cat for organizing.

Hi Stephanie, You asked for our comments/opinions and so here goes mine... If you wish to have Zoom calls and quizzes with your upper tier patrons then I see this is as your prerogative as Creator and should be added to the list of advertised perks for those tiers, to manage expectations. As a lower tier patron myself I don't personally have a desire to see any of those Zoom calls/quizzes with other Tiers and instead would be very happy to continue with the weekly out takes and updates, every Wednesday, as you have been doing. If your desire is to try and use the Zoom quizzes and calls as a way of putting faces to names and building further upon the community that already exists as a whole. Then I see the fairest way (given Zoom's limitations with numbers), of deciding who attends, is to draw names from a hat and send out invites accordingly to those people only, to decide if they can or wish to attend. For me personally, I'm not a fan of Zoom or online meetings but I accept they are sometimes a necessity in this current climate.

This was so fun, but I was completely hopeless when it came to the quiz 😂 I think it sounds like a fun thing to have Zoom calls between us all. Unfortunately, I have no good idea how to get it to work but together we will probably come up with a solution to everyone's delight 🤩👍

When is Cat coming back to LaLande ? I miss seeing her. How is Jerry? The zoom call is a nice idea but I will have to say... It was more special for me when I received a personal letter addressed to me from LaLande. Thank you for taking the time to send the note.

@Shirley Urwin you said it all for me . I feel exactly the same. I’m more than happy with what we get now and have no desire to be on a zoom call nor do I feel aggrieved , put out or jealous of patrons donating at a higher tier who get some extra content. Thank you to all at Lalande for all that you do.🌺

I'm so sorry to see that you are on the receiving end of negative feedback. You work really hard posting five videos a week for us to watch, and to ask for more feels so greedy. I always worry that you might be working to hard or that you'll get burned out because of your busy filming/editing schedule, and then we might have to go without any videos while you recuperate. So, first and foremost, please take really good care of yourself. I am happy with whatever content you are able to produce for us. The time you make for us is a gift, and I am so grateful for it. <3

No one is asking for more videos. As part of being a Patron, we are promised one video a week here. This week only the upper tier patrons got a video / zoom call. No one begrudges upper tier patrons getting additional benefits, but that could have been done separately rather than in place of the Wednesday Patron video. The lower tier members received nothing but a written quiz and a promise of a video we still haven’t seen 3 days later. No one in the lower tier needs to apologize or be shamed for expressing disappointment over this issue.

Dearest Stephanie, I don't mind if you do extra for upper tier patreons. I'm really not into qiuzzes and zoom calls. I'd rather watch what your plans are for your lovely chateau etc. But if it's okay with you it would be lovely to see your friend doing the tiles for the kitchen. How will you end your fathers work and complete his ideas...

If there is a poll regarding live ZOOM calls YAY or NAY, I'm one of those who just don't really indulge in them, so NAY on my part. However after you have edited them and release at a later date, then I will happily indulge in watching them! LOL! Also if there is a poll on quizzes, I will scroll away, I never did well with them even in school, gives me goosebumps and trepidation, however it seems most people really enjoyed this quiz and that Cat did an excellent job to entertain! Good on you Cat, you have been missed!

Eric Wilson why are you trying to silence and shame Catherine H? Do you think this will impress Stephanie or the other Patrons? You understand you are laying yourself bare here don't you? I understand you are in disagreement with the opinions of others but is this the best way you can think of to express that?

BUT, Thank you for including me in it even though I'm not one of the "TOP" patrons :) I consider it AN EXTRA PERK!!!! Sheila, I believe your CAPS key is sticking a bit Dear. Try a Q-tip with a little rubbing alcohol or pulling the key up entirely and cleaning it with a clean cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol. With a little careful attention It should fix it right up! Have a glorious evening and keep on typing without that pesky caps key sticking! You’re welcome! 😁

Bonjour. I just joined Lalande as a patron, albeit not a very high tier. I happen to be French, from Provence, but I have loved in Australia for the last 50 years. I enjoy your videos, it takes me home , even though I don’t get back very often. All the best.Paula.

Agreed. Finding it rather shocking. The negative comments are not showing The Lalende Spirit! Why would anyone begrudge anyone paying extra from getting a little something extra which is to be shared with everyone eventually anyway?!
