Happy Anniversary, Allies!
If you’re going to be attending our LA-based events this week, here’s all the information you should need. Ask last minute questions here if anything is unclear.
TUESDAY, 3/21
Easy Allies In Concert
Prospect Theatre
6356 Hollywood Blvd.
Doors open at 7 PM. Show starts at 8 PM.
Valet parking is at Hollywood Blvd. and Cosmo St. There’s parking for the Pantages Theater nearby, and you can park at Hollywood and Highland (which is a bit of a walk) if you want to check out Hollywood Blvd. before the show.
You will need a $10 ticket to get into the event. You can buy one here: https://tickets.vendini.com/ticket-software.html?t=tix&e=3bdca337232e90d59ad0b1d35df54f5f
It looks like rain on both Tuesday and Wednesday, so bring cozy, warm clothes and an umbrella for waiting outside of the theatre. We’ll get you all in as fast as possible.
Alcohol and food will be served at the bar, in a separate room from the concert stage. We’ll be giving out prizes at the end of the show, so be sure to grab a ticket before it starts. The show will end around 9:30, or 10 PM. The Prospect Theatre closes at 11 PM.
Feel free to take pictures, but do not record the show and share video on social media. We’ll be looking out for people recording and loving and respectfully asking them not to. We’ll tape the show, and it will be on our main channel this week.
After the show, depending on many factors, we’re going to visit a local bar. We would love to fill up the Roosevelt Hotel and get some drinks at the Library Bar. Unfortunately it’s about a 10-minute walk westward down Hollywood Blvd, which might not be fun if it’s pouring rain. Library’s open until 1 AM. http://www.thehollywoodroosevelt.com/about/food-drink/library-bar
If it’s really coming down, there’s also the Lost Property Bar. The issue there is the size, which will not likely accommodate our crowd. Lost Property is open until 2 AM. http://www.lostpropertybar.com
Not all of the allies will be staying up past midnight. We want to provide options in case the party isn’t finished when the curtains go down.
WEDNESDAY, 3/22
Rainy Day Meet & Greet
LA Brea Tar Pits
5801 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036
https://tarpits.org/visit/map
We’re meeting in the northwest corner of the park at 12 PM.
This could be a wonderful afternoon or we could end up getting all wet. With L.A. weather, you never know, even if rain is forecasted. If the rainfall is heavy, there are covered areas at the entrance of LACMA, which is immediately southwest of the park. We’ll be tweeting out if we move around. Sophie will be headed to the park, rain or shine, so if it’s worth suffering the slick asphalt you can pet a cute, nervous pooch.
THURSDAY, 3/23
We’ll be streaming from noon to midnight. More details soon!
If you traveled to be here, thank you so much for making the trip. If you cannot meet us in person this week, we’ll get to your part of the world ASAP!
