I was debating on doing a second editorial today on our 2020 Awards, now that the winners are public, including GOTY. Our Patrons were thinking the same thing, as today’s episode is full of questions and curiosities surrounding the process of ending a year of reviewing games. So for today’s editorial, also based on a few patron comments, I’ll briefly talk about my headspace going into this Friday’s in-person, all-hands meeting. Being patrons and Cup-viewers, you may be among the only people tuned into the fact that our big 2022 planning session is this week. Since I’m only one vote of eight, I can’t promise specific change, but I can revisit a few concerns raised on Cup in 2021 and bring them to the group.
