The Easy Allies Game of the Year Awards 2021 will take place Tuesday, January 25th, 2021. Which means it's time for us to collect your submissions for the Patron Game of the Year. Submissions will be accepted until 12:00pm PST Friday, January 21st. After, we will pick the 10 most nominated submissions and conduct a poll that will conclude at 6pm PST on Tuesday, January 25th, 2021. We will then reveal the winner during the live portion of our Game of the Year Awards that evening.

I voted as well, but it was really difficult for some reason. It was between 3 games for me (and I probably picked the one that has the least chance of getting high in the lists). They are all very close for me though. I can't imagine how difficult it can be for other people who play way more different types of games and play way more newer games than I do.

Had to be Returnal for me. Such a uniquely wonderful experience. I'm not good at hard games. But this was just so captivating that I managed to get through. An amazing atmosphere and gameplay experience that makes it a memorable game. One I hope that doesn't get forgotten.

My Goty is Tales of Arise, and I am worried it will be left out of the conversation because only Damiani played it to completion. It's really the warmest of anime blankets, complete with great characters, a surpisingly thoughtful story, great design and action packed sakuga filled combat. I feel like Ben would go to bat for it, had he played it.

Death's Door for me. Yeah it was bit too easy, but damn if it wasn't it super enjoyable from start to finish. An Interesting story, a colorful world that was fun to explore, fun combat, and great bosses.

Metroid Dread for me. Ended up playing it to completion 4 times in a row just because I didn't want it to be over, lol.

I don't care if it gets bumped into the DLC category on a technicality, Endwalker was a full-sized game to me, and it was my GOTY.
