I feel like The Rock in saying "FINALLY!". YAY!

Huber says “a 10/10 moment you didn’t know you wanted” for when Garfield feels emotional. Huber, that was the exact moment I knew I wanted since I saw Zendaya falling in the trailer. It was even better than I thought it’d be. Interesting that Ben found the relationship between Peter and Gwen unnatural in the Amazing movies considering I think that’s arguably the strongest part of those films. The fact that Andrew and Emma were dating was clearly evident on screen by how great their chemistry was.

I agree, most people said their chemistry was the best in the Spider-Man adaptations.

25:30- To me the whole point of Venom is his relationship with Peter. Tom Harry’s Venom has no relationship with Holland’s Spiderman. So what’s the point of them fighting? It will have no weight. Venom hates Peter cause he discarded the suit and Brock hates Peter cause he ruined his life.

the movie felt much more like a Sony movie than an MCU movie in a very very good way. it was a pure good adventure and good story without trying to push a message the same way some other movies do. (messages are fine for movies just not everyone needs one) also I was disappointed there was no Bruce Campbell cameo.

Love the conversation in this one. I agree with Huber that the Doctor Strange actions is a problem, but I'm surprised that no one picked up on the biggest issue I have with this film, and that is that the whole 1st act made no sense for one reason. Where is Pepper Potts? In a world where she is still here, there is no way that Peter Parker is struggling to get into any university, or worrying about money. And there is definitely no way that she's not got a team of lawyers all over the Damage Control guys, making everything that happens in the 1st act so hard to take seriously. And in what universe does the obviously Alex Jones inspired JJ Jameson get taken seriously by the DODC? Other than that 1st act the movie was great

potato potato also another potato

dodc is probably not an accident, they were generally much more antagonistic than they should be (given my very limited knowledge of damage control) I suspect they are up to something shady, especially given some throwaway lines that indicate they may have control of a lot of old stark tech. I wonder if dodc will have a role in armor wars, or are connected to misc people and things in hawkeye.
