Nice one Huber, great format and can't wait to see the show evolve. I'm totally teased by this episode. Hoping for 10-15 minute shows in future. I think that's the sweet spot!

LOVE that this isn't just about games, but also storytelling, and entertainment in general! I'd be fun to have like a "required reading" or "required viewing" inbetween each episode to strike up conversation! Jolly, fun, and just enough weirdness to cement it as Huber's show! We're back baby

Huber, love having your positivity back on the Internet. I'd love to hear more about why you thought making decisions of as the villain changed the feeling of making moral choices in Quantum Break. I get that it's a different perspective, but I wanted you to go deeper on that. I love your insights on the podcasts, so I know you have it in you. Just small thing. Otherwise, I'm excited by the direction you're taking this.

Just picked up the new Ratchet and Clank on PS4. Such a jolly action platformer set in beautiful and diverse worlds. The animation is excellent, the story is funny, and the characters are great. There is so much personality in this game. People will dismiss it as a kids game but it is everything this game should be. Too many games are bland and brown and monotonous, R&amp;C is a spectacle for the eyes with worlds that are so different, the way games used to be designed. I wanna go from a forest to a desert to outer space with some creativity enhancing every location. The weapons also add a ton of variety and fun. This is gaming, I don't need to prepare to die a hundred times, just jollyness.

Favorite time travel movie of all time is Predestination with Ethan Hawke. Other great ones include Primer, Coherence, and Looper

I just watched the film and it's awesome. I'm gonna watch it again soon. I love psychological thrillers with twisty elements that really make you think about stuff. I couldn't have asked for a better first episode.

Huber! I love that you have your own show again. You have a unique voice and vibe within the group and an own show can shed more light on that. Some things I want to point out and I don't know if other people agree. The shot doesn't look straight. And I wish the background behind your head would be empty. What I mean by that is, like in Kyle's home show, his head is straight in the middle of his kitchen with nothing really straight behind his head. Maybe it's me being neurotic. And the last point, which is actually positive: I wish for it to be longer!

Great first show, we missed you. I think a lot of the "non-hype" comments on this thread are a result of two things: 1) music choice was somber. Gimme some fire! 2) you're seated instead of standing. Your observations about video games always ring true. Looking forward to more!

Awesome to have you back Huber! I can appreciate the gong between segments. The one thing I would change is the intro music and BGM, it's not HYPE enough. We need a song that builds up your already natural hype you bring to the table.

This was such a fun show and I'm loving Quantum Break, I'm on Chapter 4 and I'm really digging the tv show! I love games that have great stories and this game has exactly that. Can't wait for more Huber Syndrome!

Love the name, Love the show. I wish you would have pushed your analysis a bit further on making decisions as the villain. I understand not wanting to get into spoilers, maybe you could have come up with an anecdote not related to the game narrative?

Mr. Huber, great start to a new series! I have a small bit of confusion about a little part you have where you do the warped voice. It seemed a little out of place and I thought it would be a great opener or somewhere near the beginning. Even though it felt that way, there's nothing wrong here and even though its the Syndrome, I look forward to always hearing the face of HYPE.

Great first episode. I'm glad your getting a chance to talk about other media since you have so much passion for it. I have a time travel movie recommendation. Time crimes one of my all time faves. Tense and full of fun time paradox stuff but not too heady like primer. Don't get me wrong primer is great but times crimes is more fun. Check it out!

OK, not a bad ep but it needs more structure and to be longer. As for QB, I can't remember the last time when a big title felt so refreshing and just pure fun. A good surprise. We need more Remedy!

Love the intro! Great entrance too. The rest is a little creepy, especially the voice slow down. That's quite the old lady couch you have there. Seeing you sit on your show doesn't feel right.

I love the enthusiasm as always, and will definitely check out your recommendation. The warped voice feels out of place and I agree that I'd like a longer episode in the future. Also, I really wish this show was still "Hype! with Michael Huber." That'd bring in a lot more new viewers, IMO.

40.000 $ patreon goal = new couch for the Hube confirmed, haha. Otherwise great show and the "Now it's time for the syndrome" bit almost cracked me up. Already loved the QB review, maybe it's time to install that damn Windows 10 and finally check that game out.

All the reviews against the game I've seen are all criticizing it for not being a good cover shooter so I loved the way you described how Quantum Break isn't even a cover shooter! Haha shows that you really understood the game so I know I can trust your review!

The one complaint I have for the show is that it's so short. I would have liked you to tackle multiple crazy things you're into over 20 minutes, but maybe that's asking for too much.

Hey Huber, nice recommendation with Sound of My Voice, that's definitely a great movie to go into blind, really helps build some tension and suspense. Speaking of low budget time travel movies, if you haven't seen Primer you absolutely have to. Won't say much else cause it's probably another good movie to go into not knowing much. Glad you're back with a new show with the allies, keep it up and keep the hype alive!

Huber! Good episode! You always bring the energy and that's why I continue to watch. I'm eager to see where this show goes in the future. There are a couple things that I feel need tweaking. The first being the name, "syndrome" is too soft-sounding a word for you. You need hard sounds that evoke energy when you say them, like "complex." The other, get rid of the DVDs in the background. I found myself trying to identify what you had back there rather than listen to what you were saying. You basically have my DVD collection on your shelves. I love that you made a movie suggestion! I happened to have seen and enjoyed Sound of My Voice. I would love this to be like a book club where you make a suggestion and then discuss it on the next episode.

Huber! Quantum break is too short of a game. I started on launch day and "platinum'ed" by Saturday. Way too short but since I pre-ordered the game I got the greatness that is Alan Wake and American Nightmare, both better games than QB. Hopefully there'll be dlc or something more coming to QB because I did like it but there just wasn't enough there for me.
