Welcome to EZX Digital ‘21 (Patreon)

This week, we’re celebrating 5 years of Easy Allies, and it is truly a remarkable milestone after this past year. We’re grateful to everyone who has continued to support us and allowed Easy Allies to endure. We miss seeing your faces in person, but like last year, we have a full week of streams planned to celebrate the occasion.

We’ll get to the streaming schedule soon enough, but first let’s go over some updates for new seasons, new shows, and other changes coming to Easy Allies in the near future.

Achieve it Yourself - Season 3
It’s been more challenging to pull off remotely, but the next season of Achieve it Yourself is in full production and will start rolling out this week, exclusively for patrons. Catch the first episode Tuesday, March 23rd at 10:00 AM. (That’s tomorrow if you’re reading this post as soon as it goes live.) New episodes will follow each week for the full 7-week season.

Mini-Game Champions
Mini-Game Champions is also in the works, and since it feels like a solid follow-up, we’re planning to roll out episodes to patrons right after Achieve it Yourself’s season finale.

Mindful Games
Brandon Jones is crafting this limited run series looking at games that explore themes of meditation or that can otherwise serve as outlets of introspection. The first episode will go public this Wednesday, March 24th at 10:00 AM, followed by a stream from Brandon on Twitch at 11:00 AM. $5 patrons will also get early access to the following week’s episode during the season’s six-episode run.

Trash Babies
We’re developing a new monthly segment that we’re affectionately calling Trash Babies. Think part 3 of The Gen That Was, but with games that have gotten an aggregate score of 6 or lower. Patrons in the $15 tier will be able to submit candidates for Trash Babies each month, and episodes will be exclusive to all patrons. We’ll see how it goes after 4 or 5 episodes and may do a similar format in the future with a different theme.

Soundtrack Club
Coming to the $7 tier, Soundtrack Club will be a way for us to recommend and discuss different soundtracks we’re listening to throughout the year. Each month, Bloodworth will get together with one of the other allies or a guest and have a brief discussion about three soundtracks - a recent release, a soundtrack the guest brings to the show, and a recommendation from club members. It’s less of a show and more of a chance to quickly check in and find out what’s resonating with people. We’ll get the ball rolling soon, and aim to have the first discussion up in mid-April.

Patreon Reward Tier Changes
Today, we’re updating the descriptions for most of our Patreon tiers with language that’s easier to understand at a glance plus some new rewards.

New rewards include:
+ Extended ad-free podcast for all patrons
+ The Fast & Loose Internet Talk Show for all patrons (ask questions at $5!)
+ Soundtrack Club for $7 patrons
+ Suggest games for Trash Babies and ideas for monthly Tiermaker streams at the $15 tier

As we announced last week, we have three new shirts and two posters going on sale tomorrow. Fundraising This Week
While we’re celebrating 5 years, we also need your support if we want to keep going for 5 more. This week will serve as a general fundraiser that will help us keep up with ongoing expenses, including improving the studio when we head back in, updating equipment, and planning future events.

While your monthly Patreon pledges help us the most, all this week, we’ll be tracking a combined total that includes Twitch subs and one-time contributions via Paypal.
