Review feedback. After watching the video and reading the text multiple times I still have no idea what kind of game this is. Like what are you doing in dungeons besides fighting bosses, how the story is presented and what's it about? It almost like you assume that everyone played Zelda games and know how they function.

Interesting review, the score isn’t what I expected after the commentary. I hear a review that endears the game but there are multiple dislikes and complaints about how it doesn’t reach the mark. From what I understood I think the score sounds too high. It sounded like a 7.5 or 8 was written but looks more like a 10 lowered down to a 9 so I wonder if there’s some Zelda bias, is it really a 9? Hard to tell.

I think you're overlooking the last line of the review. Based on how it was written, it sounds like a 9 to me. I think if the performance issues were smoothed out, and the dungeon creator was more robust, it'd easily score a 10. I think it could easily have been closer to an 8, but that it did score higher because of the fact it's a remake of Link's Awakening. That isn't because it gets a boost because of bias, but simply because it's a (beautiful) remake of arguably the greatest Game Boy game of all time.

I don't think that needs to be explained and there shouldn't be that expectation. This is a remake/remaster of a game that came out 26 years ago, so there is plenty to go off of.
