I would suggest everyone at least try the free demo. It was enough to get me hooked.

It looks fine but I'm the opposite of most people when it comes to JRPGs. It has to really blow me away if they aren't going to be turned based. I just think turned based combat systems work better in JRPGs or at least I enjoy them more.
