Okay, in the land of things that don't really matter... I have a question. Every time I open up these podcasts on Youtube, there is 1 thumbs-down waiting. I typically am fast in opening these things so there are less than 200 views on the video by the time I get there. So, it leads to two possibilities that I can think of. 1) A Patron is giving it a dislike. However, you are paying to get the Podcast early... so if you were the type of person to dislike the video... why would you pay monthly to get it early? I'm lost 2) Someone like Kyle is giving it a thumbs-down, just because he has an odd with his sense of humor and on some level, this tickles him so to take that power away from someone else to be the first dislike. 3) ?

Fire Emblem would be better with a wider diversity of idealized, unrealistic bodies (who are dressed a bit more appropriately).

Hey, if you find yourself with some free time, consider checking out some of the E3 Treehouse coverage for Astral Chain or even some of the other videos they've put out on it besides the main trailers. I get how easy it is to mentally check out on it from a glance, but I really do think this particular game is offering much more than many are currently aware of, things that people not into Platinum combat games could still greatly enjoy.

I don't entirely get these complaints for two reasons. 1. I played Fire Emblem Heroes, and that game clearly had a wide representation of body types, facial structures, skin colors, etc. One of the things I personally really enjoy in Fire Emblem games is you get way more toned to muscular female characters as knights and other hands-on scrappy classes than lots of other franchises. If anything, there have been a couple body types that were hard to imagine gracing a battlefield donned out in the heavy looking, elaborate armor they were paired with, but I imagine in the games they originated from those characters were snobby Barons and such, who rarely actually donned that gear and did little more than bark orders when they did ride out. 2. The majority of the "beautiful people" characters in Three Houses are nobility and not only that but top brass nobility as this game takes place in an Officer's Academy within the head Church of the region. Isn't a stretch to imagine these individuals would be more clean and kempt, more privileged and trendy, and frankly more likely to be genetically bred from other "beautiful people", naturally carrying down their traits. There's some Commoner exceptions, but the one that comes to mind is a singer from a famous opera house, a place that seems likely appearance would play a large importance to as well. On top of all that, you still have characters like Lorenz and Raphael, who I won't call ugly because that's rude to people who find them attractive, but they're definitely not mainstream "beautiful people". As for dressed "appropriately", the flirty teacher Manuela is the only real standout for potentially being dressed inappropriately for the situation, but it makes sense for the character since she's always flirting with and trying to pick up the knights around the monastery between teaching. Haven't seen anything with her flirting with students if that exists. Although, shoutout to Raphael's bulk for maxing out and stretching his school shirt to a point that looks uncomfortable. He's a commoner, so maybe he keeps bulking up and can't afford to keep getting larger academy quality clothing that fits him tailored frequently. Seems like something the game probably addresses at some point, but I haven't seen it.

I'm still waiting for them to put Control on there...it'll only be a couple weeks (days) before it's out so it wouldn't take up a spot for long.

Here is What'sWhat; Snag It is actually the SH*T. It's by far the best software to take screen captures and annotate them quickly. If you work in the industry, don't listen to the panel. Give snag it a shot.

Correction: I am from the Netherlands, and I can confirm we do not use Schwassles as our currency. It is actually Luxembourg who has the Schwassle as their national currency. The two countries get mixed up sometimes because of the similarities of their national flags. After the introduction of the EURO, most countries in the EU adopted the EURO as their currency. However Luxembourg went with the Schwassle instead. L&R

One potential reason why Ian and Ben disagreed on the price of YouTube premium might be due to the so called "Apple Tax". When I signed up last year it was £11.99 a month normally but £15.99 a month if you signed up via the iOS app. This is because both Apple and Google take a cut of any subscription revenue generated via an app on iOS and Android respectively (I don't know whether YouTube premium is also more expensive via the Android app considering Google own YouTube). Some companies eat the cost, some companies (e.g. Netflix) just refuse to let you sign up via the app and for whatever reason YouTube just decided to silently pass that cost onto the customer.

I listen to this podcast on my morning commute and today I made it all the way to work before they even finished corrections. Not complaining, I just thought it was amusing how long the Desire Index goes when Ben is here to argue for a game haha.
