Comic artist here! Yes making comics IS TOTALLY the ultimate entry into creating a visual piece of entertainment (to me novels are easier.. I can bang out pages per day in story in word form.. I can draw 2 pages a day tops). There is one TINY thing to acknowledge--Just like with any creative effort it's the ultimate beginners trap. It's so easy to make 1 page you think "Oh I'll tell my huge story!" and I see lots of beginners get mired in the workload and quit before they finish. So very easy to start. Easy to execute shorter narratives... but once you start talkin' graphic novel? It's hard. So start small. Then go big.

I'm 28 and never had a ps1 when I was young. The only FF game I've played is Crystal Chronicles with my girlfriend and the only proper jprgs are Pokémon if they count and I am Setsuna. 15 always looked appealing to me but I'll go with 9. Thanks!

Comic writer here and on the point of comics being a testing grounds for IP, its totally a smart call but there can be a couple of downsides depending how you go about it. Like if your kickstarter opens with "This is to try out a movie script" or something like that you will get a lot of heat. A lot of the older gen find this offensive and fans tend to feel the same way. So long as you're making sure you're creating a good comic story that stands on its own you'll be okay with using comics as starting point for a potential IP. Most of the publishers I work with started with this goal in mind as do most newer publishers. Love and respect allies, always hype hearing comics mentioned in any of the shows y'all do!

Kyle thank you so much for indulging the fans with the Sakura Wars segment. We don't deserve it. It's truly admirable that you endure the nagging comments to be as informative as possible. The fact that you do corrections at all is a blessing. You guys are great, and so long as you still have passion for this, please keep doing what you're doing.

Jim Morrison died of unknown causes in his bath tub in France. Possible heart attack. Also it is alleged that he pulled out his “thing”. This was never proven in a court of law and Morrison himself and the rest of the Doors denied this happening. How dare brad say wings is better than Bob Dylan and how dare Kyle slide Morrison under the rug as though he is greatly inferior to Dylan and Joplin

Romance in Bioware games is fantasy escapism. I'm not sure fans would be into the reminder that finding love can be hard. It would be like reading a romance novel and having the main characters break the fourth wall by telling the reader that they will die alone. Cool idea though. Any idea for multiplayer that doesn't involve "killing" other players deserves encouragement.

Big ups to Tyler for sharing that Love and Respect story. The Broncos crash was a pretty big story in Canada at the time it happened. Families were devastated and it was just tragic all-around. With stories like these, the people in the hospitals are the unsung heroes, doing their damnedest to keep people alive, without so much as any acknowledgement from the media. Tyler is a goddamned hero and I'm glad Easy Allies could give him the peace he so rightly deserved. Love and Respect to you, Tyler.

Correction: A lot of PC gamer's do not want the Epic Game Store because of Tencent's involvement. Tencent owns a majority share of Epic, and has the deep sort of pockets to burn out the competition. And There's no real benefit to having a game release exclusively on one platform. Instead of providing value to video game consumers, they're limiting options available to pc gamers. Anecdotally, I get weekly "reset passwords, someone's been trying to log into your account" emails from Epic, which makes me feel less secure about doing business with their platform.

One glaring omission left out in the Sakura Wars news portion. Tite Kubo (creator of the Bleach manga) will be the main character designer for the game.
