Loved Don's and Huber's excitement. Now we just need a new season of Don's Design Lab back, that's one of my favorite series back from the GameTrailers days. I loved the episodes with Kyle ands Elyse Willems, Kyle was such a troll and Elyse had such a hard time with some of the traps and then she would freak out. I just laughed the whole time. Don and Huber also forgot about Dreams, this year will be truly magical for people like Don, who have the gift of creativity and can make the most awesome creations with these games. I can't wait to see all the wonderful things people will create.

Happy Valentine's day to all!)))

Anyone else getting quieter audio from Don's mic, or is it just me? Having difficulty getting the sound to balance between Huber and Don.

Not to bully Don, but 3D World isn't at all the same game as New Super Mario Bros. U. The New Super style of Mario was already in Mario Maker 1, whereas 2 is adding 3D Land / 3D World's style reimagined for 2D. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is what recently got ported to Switch. 3D World still hasn't been ported, and lots of that particular game's charm would be lost if they ever did given the wealth of things you could do in that game through interacting with the Wii U Gamepad. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is the game that Martin Robinson of Eurogamer published an article on claiming it possesses great challenge, although from my point of view just hearing about this during the episode among the previous confusion of games, it was easy to mistake this for someone writing about 3D World being challenging as the perspective of that game with the absence of the 3D effect that 3D Land possessed, which is what that particular perspective was designed to work with, creates trouble perceiving depth when platforming leading to extra challenge. Plus, the ultimate final challenge level of 3D World named Champion's Road in my opinion being the hardest single challenge in any mainline Mario game. I played Super Mario Bros U when it launched on Wii U at a friend's place and beat it in one night. I don't remember it being particularly challenging, but I also never played the New Super Luigi U expansion to the game, which might be the challenging levels Martin Robinson was referring to. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-01-09-new-super-mario-bros-u-deluxe-is-for-the-hardest-of-hardcore-mario-players

It´s kinda confusing for us the way that he said, because he was talking about the assets of "the newest 2d mario" that is from wii U, but he never confused it with 3D World. When he talks about new assets we immediately think about 3d world, but as he said on the episode they also added new assets from New Super Mario bros. U, like the snow/ice enviroment.

Was just about to post basically the same question. Maybe he is a bit further and of course slightly more soft spoken then huber (we all are).

I always love it when Don is excited about something. There is just something so likeable about his whole personality. Good on Huber for getting Don on the show to talk about this.

I would love for Don's Design Lab to become a weekly stream/show!
