Great show Huber! I haven't picked up RE2 yet but was wondering, how obtainable are the trophies/achievements? Is it generous or will it be a difficult platinum?

RE2 Remake is my first Resident Evil game and I absolutely love it. The first playthrough was so tense and stressful (in a good way), and having beaten it 6 times now and earned an S+ rank I feel like a master.

Like Bosman, I can't handle playing horror games. However, I've watched almost every RE stream you've done, including the most recent one. Your playthrough of RE2 was so good, this will be the first year a game I'll only ever watch will be in contention for my GOTY. They poured so much love into that game and it shows. I adore it.

Huber because of you, in the last year I went from playing no RE games to having finished (in this weird order) 7, 1 HD, 4, 0 and now 2 Remake which is definitely my fave. I’ve had the best time with all of them. Thank you!

I had not played any Resident Evil games before 2019 but thanks to Huber's love for the series I played and finished Resident Evil Remake on the same week Resident Evil 2 Remake was released. I loved it so much I bought RE2 day one and binged on it playing for almost 2 days straight, finishing it. Now I'm hooked and I'm playing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis on my Vita. After that it's on to Code: Veronica X and RE4. I just wanted to thank you Huber for inspiring me to try this series out. It's every bit as awesome as I've heard and felt you describe it.

My favorite Resident Evil since 4, hands down. Amazing blend of old and new - old school puzzles and level design, new school controls, graphics and scares

I liked him at first. But then after an hour, I got tired of him. The tension was all gone, and I didnt find him scary anymore. He was just annoying. It would be like RE7 having Jack Baker chase you for the rest of the game.

Guess I’m in the minority here. But I acutally don’t like the Mr. X mechanic. The first hour I encountered him, he scared the shit out of me. The tension had me on the edge of my seat. But after awhile, all the tension was gone. He was no longer scary. There was too much of him. And he just became annoying. I would have much preferred him triggering in sections of the game, rather than being in the whole game for the rest of the game. It would be like if Jack Baker started stalking you in every section, for the entire game. That said, I know that people love this. And I’m really happy that its a mechanic that some enjoy. But it personally started to ruin the game for me. I know i know, “just wait for Nemesis”. I actually played RE2 and 3 when they originally came out. So I know none of this is unexpected.

I sorta of agree despite him not bothering me. If they do Nemesis, either they have to set him on specific sections or make him change and evolve throughout a playthrough to keep the tension high. Like setting traps or shooting rockets from the roof of a building, etc. Mr. X issue like with all horror is that he sadly becomes mundane and more like a Pacman's Ghost instead of a Terminator.

Thank you for bringing back comments. I believe we haven't had them since this show had a different name even?? And even though it's not live, somehow seeing you reading comments in the main show feels more intimate than when you were doing "live Syndrome" looking forwards to it!

They've beautifully tidied up the story and overall flow of the game. I love everything the team reimagined and added. The one main thing I missed from the first remake was the music, it was the same for me this time around. That's why I truly appreciate them adding the option to have the original soundtrack.
