The Carmen Sandiego conversation made me laugh - that was one of my first games on my Apple II. Mid 80's, I believe. It came with a 200+ page "Fodor's USA Travel Guide" so you could look up info. Today they would call that a Collectors Edition and slap $100 price tag on it.

I need to point out that the Pro Strats Only Plz segment makes me cringe. Apparently that is the keyword that ended the Beastie Boys rap. So maybe it's less cringe and this week it just made me stop watching. I'll return to maybe see if YouTube on desktop has a timestamp in the description to let me skip over it. Objective or Word of the Week were better openers. Recruit me was only middling tier. I mean the Recruit Me special wasn't for me and I watched it. Don't know what happened to the Love and Respect only episode as a filler week option.

man I hated the microtransactions section of the podcast, they are talking about it like if it's rocket science. it's showing in the progress/reward like a main game design pillar and can't be ignored.and how it's a "boring part" of a review when it's related to the satisfaction and the value of the game. The side missions in AC:O are a must to pass the designed level gates and in case you don't enjoy grinding you should pay more 10$ for exp boost. Same with BO4 if someone is watching it now it will be outdated and misleading. Keeping stuff in the gray area would only hurts credibility of EZA. If companies gets good credit for enhancing their games post release they should also get bad comments for changing the games balance to work best for the publishers greed after the consumers got the game based on release version of the game.
