Finally, so excited to see this.

Can’t wait to watch this! Spoiler Mode has so much potential. Please do more of these

AH

Wow I never saw this coming...

Steven Perry

YES! Just beat the game a few days ago. Perfect timing.

I'm finally finishing up Horizon as well, I feel like I'll beat it today. Spoiler Modes (and other such content from others) really gives me an extra impetus to finish games, something I've been notoriously bad at all my life. Let us know what the next Spoiler Mode will be so I have some more initiative to conquer that one as well :P

Poor Mishima just gets straight up forgotten. He was actually the first confidant I maxed out, just because he was always down to get leveled up. His storyline was compelling too, how you have to change his heart at one point. I thought it was a great reminder of how anyone, not just adults, can get carried away when power and fame are thrust upon them, even if they start with good intentions. Really underrated character. Was disappointed at first that you are almost always given an option to be rude to him, even at the end, but I think being given the choice made me want to stick up for him that much more. Thanks for getting around to recording this guys!!

Dude I feel you :( I really felt for Mishima and his storyline. Maxed him out very quickly as well. The poor kid went through crap too with his insecurity issues piled on top of that. So the way he reacted to finally feeling worth something and it going too far all felt quite genuine for me. He needed support with what he went through and it actually kinda upset me that so many dialogue options with him were generally dismissive and at best barely tolerating him. It felt awful :(

Yay! I've been waiting for this! Actually I'd like to see EZA do more of these spoiler modes even if it means cutting out some streams and things.

Thanks, been waiting to hear your opinion for a while now! Would like to hear Ian's thoughts on it on Frame Trap if he ever finishes the game though

Anonymous

He talked about it on a Frame Trap before. He dropped it though around the end of chapter 1 (I don't remember if he finished chapter 1 and dropped it soon afterwards or before he finished it)

Guy's, don't ever worry about being late with these, i love it that their not to close to the game ! To bad you didn't talk about the social stats; i love how they are used as a device to gate off the game without it feeling unfair, like you need enough of knowledge to show the smartest girl in school to ask her something....

Can anyone tell me how far into the game this episode spoils? I am in December and have only one palace and a boss to go before ending.

I hated that actually. Made Makoto feel like a jerk who would only associate with people she could benefit from being around. Then her confidant ranks are all her looking down on her new friend. Really made me hate the character that everyone else seems to love.

Super Cool guys! I had been waiting for this spoiler cast. Lots of nice conversations about some aspects of the story and characters.. However I must say I am disappointed there was no discussion whatsoever about many of Persona 5's gameplay systems, especially it's fantastic battle system. To me personally, while I loved many of the characters, MC and the over-all arching storyline as a excellent motivation to play the game; I found the battle system in particular to be the driving force, "engine" as it were, supporting the entire game. Simply said, Persona 5's battle system was so sweet, so smooth, so smart, so quick and so dynamic because it was a turn based battle system that was perfectly designed to greatly challenge the player, but rewarded them when displaying both judicial intelligence before battle (how you make yourself stronger in the real world), and performing the focused actions & cunning necessary during a variety of battles in the meta-verse (which includes all the decisions & options available to you to defeat your opponent with)... "ONE MORE!" (Love that shit) ... Persona 5 is amazing, one of the best in the series, one of the best games of the decade. Is it the best of the year? Despite some stiff competition from some other games, currently right now- Persona 5 is my GOTY.

I've waited so long for this that I'm not ready to watch it yet. Need to get the platinum first.
