They said I was crazy to teach a photography lesson in the Dragon Lands. But I can't think of anywhere else where the rocks form like that naturally. Plus the dragon migration had already happened. How the heck was I supposed to know Dragon Lord Torch would have to step down? I didn't even know there was a Dragon Lord! Or that he looked like the Bewilderbeasts from "How To Train Your Dragon 2"?

There's a number of things I didn't understand about this episode while first watching it. As per what's become a pattern thus far in season six, eventually I was able to figure out a lot of it or have other people show me things about the story that I was missing. However, I'd still like to know how dragons have a hierarchy after showing to be completely solitary creatures up to this point in the series. Or why none of the adult dragons we've seen in "Dragonshy", "Owl's Well That Ends Well" or "Dragon Quest" were shown in this episode.

However, it was a very good episode for Spike. My opinion in this is unpopular, but I liked it when Spike hit his usual pitfalls in previous episodes which center around him. Here, he didn't hit any of them and I'm still just as cool with it. It's about time he's reached a culmination of sorts. Now I wonder how we'll see him develop further or if we'll see a relapse in character.
