Greetings,

Today, let's talk about jealousy we inflict on ourselves and the importance of accepting when we have thoughts and emotions that we know we probably shouldn't. In addition, I try to examine how ignoring these problems or bottling them up can lead us to harm ourselves and those around us.

It's perfectly normal to take time off from your social life. Everyone needs time to themselves and exercise their hobbies in solace. It's how we keep our skills sharp and our minds refreshed. Just be at peace with the fact that you're not going to be around for everything and that you might miss something fun. It's a delicate balancing act and failure to do so can easily lead to situations such as "What About Discord?" and perhaps even "Too Many Pinkie Pies."

Additionally, it's perfectly normal to have these feelings. It's also normal to have the need to vent them. Otherwise, it's just a matter of time until you explode in one way or another.

I'll never forget when the hard times of my life started hitting me. when I expressed self-doubt, jealousy or a general need for companionship and was cast aside. One even telling me that my reaching out was "scary" and "weird." This same person who I had helped through these situations time and time again. That's how I got this blazer. Nobody should have to take that kind of neglect from their friends.
