For the last couple of weeks I've been working on the sex system extensively. It was partly redesigned in many ways so I'll quickly go through the changes and motivation behind it.
Firstly, consent system is back, but instead of one time consent, every action has a consent now. But not only that, consent is influenced by many things, like features or relationship with the partner, traits, effects (alcohol helps) and other participants (group actions will be harder to get consent for, unless they have specific traits). If consent isn't met, the action will be highlighted as red and will consume obedience on attempt. It will also be less effective in terms of getting Horny status. Higher consent, on the other hand, will increase arousal by up to 30%. Lastly, slaves will attempt to fight back based on their personality and can be dealt with subdue/ropes in same way as in first game.
Consent will be acquired from some discipline actions(praise/punish), and positive interaction outcome. Attempting new actions or trying various poses will also improve consent gain.
This isn't much, but it gives so more depth in behavior so freshly recruited characters won't instantly agree to take everything from you.
Secondly, sex skills now replace old 'Sexuals' stat. These are fairly straightforward: you do action, you increase your skill. The higher Sexuals Factor is, the higher the gain. The number is fairly low and is shared by categories: Petting, oral, anal, vaginal, penetration and couple extra. In terms of old 'Sexuals' stat, it will be calculated by 3 highest sex skills when required by jobs/skills. Some related items will be rebalanced. It might sound a bit grindy, so I made skill gain reasonably simple. Sex skills will improve partner's arousal gain by more than twice when maxed.
Thirdly, a couple of negative sex traits has been added, while others has been rebalanced greatly. Negative traits will be reducing consent and horny status gain making each character effectively having some preferences which makes approach to them more unique. It will be possible to add new traits or remove negative ones after some time.
Lastly, I've added a few new actions and fixed some of the descriptions. I was planning to redesign dialogues more, but I don't think I have enough will for it at this time. Frankly speaking, interaction system can be improved a LOT, but it heavily relies on both writing and code.
It's been a while since last release, but I haven't been working on the story yet, although I have some neat plans for that. Initially I was thinking about making a release as I polish the new interaction features, but I know that many actually waiting for the content releases, so I also have my doubts now. So, I'm making a vote if people want gameplay feature releases now, or I'll take another few weeks to add more story/quests content.
