As obedience was reworked, here's the brief summary on new system.
All social skills give some amount of obedience. Obedience is consumed while working. There's also Loyalty and Submission, which are gained by social skills. Once maxed, either of them remove the obedience requirement for work. Lastly, there's Authority stat, which will prevent loyalty from being accumulated until it reaches a certain value. Authority is gained mainly by punishments, but loyalty is gained by praises. Until maxed, Loyalty and Submission will decay based on Tame Factor and Timid Factor (previously Brave factor). Hired chracters generally start with high Authority, but kidnapped ones wont. Taking charcter's virginity by master will also boost their authority and loyalty.
This change is basically made to make management less tedious in the long run and provide some sort of relationship progression for characters.
