A short update post here.
So far out of most basic systems only combat requires considerable changes. We've wrapped up social skills, effects, gear and many items. Lately I've been working on quest generation and scenes, and the new system will be able to have a very broad range of requirements and effects on them. Notably, repeatable quests may require:
- Character with specific parameters
- Materials or foods
- Craftable items and gear
- Clearing out dungeons and events
The system can randomize many of the parameters on those as well, so you same group might ask you to deliver a different kind of gear or materials each time.
As a reward you will receive:
- Gold
- Reputation
- Materials
- Gear
- Characters (not currently implemented though)
Good thing is you will be able to see quest rewards and requirements when taking quests in a neat lines with icons and tooltips. Quest turn in will be done in the mansion though.
