Pluto Platt hated working as a janitor at the strip club. He spent every night mopping up sticky puddles of God-knew-what, and the fucking glitter got everywhere. But the worst part was how the girls acted around him. They were always whispering behind his back and giggling, like they were all sharing some secret joke about him. Pluto would come home smelling like cheap perfume with bits of glitter stuck to his chest, in his armpits, even down his underwear, and no matter how much he showered his skin still sparkled and he still smelled like those little bitches at the club.

One night Pluto's boss Jinx told him to go to the dressing room at the end of the hall and get everything ready for Plum, a new girl who would be dancing tonight. The hall somehow seemed longer than usual, and Pluto found a door he'd never noticed before. It didn't make sense. He'd cleaned the other dressing rooms dozens of times. How had he missed this one?

Pluto went in and sat down at the dressing room mirror, flinching slightly at the sight of his homely mug all lit up by the warm, pinkish glow of a dozen bulbs. God, it was no wonder the strippers treated him like a joke! This new girl, Plum, she'd probably laugh at him too. She'd be some teasing little bitch, just like all the other girls at the club.

Pluto sprayed Windex on his rag and wiped it across the mirror, seeing his reflection warp and smear until he was lost in the bubbles and streaks. When he lowered his dripping rag the face he saw in the mirror was unfamiliar. There was a girl staring back at him, a beautiful little brunette with plump, kissy lips and eyes like a doe. She looked as stunned as he felt.

There was a light rap at the dressing room door and Pluto heard Jinx giggle outside.

"You're on in five, Plum..."

“Yall got any more of that magic windex?” Great work! I love the transition between wipes.

Thanks! I suppose it could be the Windex, but I was thinking it was the mirror or maybe just being in "Plum's" room.
