Pogo's Letters Sent + August/September Rewards (Patreon)

Pogo's July/August letters have been sent out to all processed patrons, so you should be getting them soon!  Email letters have also been sent for those of you who get them digitally, so if you didn't receive it, let me know.  I'm still a little behind after all my travel/illness problems in July, but I managed to turn these rewards around in only 20 days, so that's something!  If I can do the same this month, I'll be back on schedule.

In this letter, Pogo tells you how to use public transportation in Chicago.

Now, if you're wondering why I'm labeling this letter as July/August, it's because of the shift to the upfront pay system.  No amount of reading Patreon's FAQ (which left out a few important details) made sense to me, but now I finally get it.

I'm going to try to explain this in a way that won't break my brain, and hopefully not yours either:

July 2016 - I did not charge upfront.  145 patrons were charged for July patronage on August 1, and all rewards have been delivered to July patrons. (these are the rewards I just sent out.)

August 2016 - Five patrons pledged in early August, but they were not charged for August patronage.  August 17, I switched to upfront pay.  Afterward, four new patrons pledged and paid upfront.  ONLY THESE FOUR PATRONS HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR AUGUST.  My total pledge count for August is 4 patrons.  I've given them access to July's rewards.  So, if you were a $5+ August patron who paid upfront, you will receive the letter I sent today.

September 2016 - ALL PATRONS with a valid payment method have been charged for September patronage on September 1 (yesterday) - 154 total.  ALL PATRONS who were successfully processed on September 1 - as well as new patrons who pledge later in September - will receive September rewards.  If you pledged between August 1 and August 17, this was your first time being charged at your current pledge level, so September's rewards will be the first you receive.  Expect September rewards to go out in 2-3 weeks.  At this point, ALL $10.01+ patrons should have received the offsite gallery login, so please let me know if you didn't.

So basically, it's kind of like August fell into a black hole, and we skipped from July to September.  I'm still delivering rewards every 30 days; they'll just be labeled a month ahead from now on.

I hope this wasn't too confusing.  If anyone has any questions, please let me know and I'll do my best to answer!  Over the next few months, I'm going to look over my Patreon campaign and try to simplify some things so it's less confusing for everyone.
