Link is below. Please know that this is the first Alpha demo and it will feature the basic gameplay functions.

DEMO LINK

To begin, I'm sure some of you who supported for a long time from flash days about Divine Arms: Origins. To summarize, it is the adventure of Sigurd before Siggy. That one did not end well bec it was another abandonment from the animator.

At anyrate, I'm doing the animations and everything full time now. Cliché, but I guess it is true that if you want something done... better do it yourself.

So, to clear up another question, I truly insist on this storyline first because it is important for Siggy's development and at the same time, I will be borrowing a ton of code from the Godot version of Forbidden Arms. You will know once you played the demo that I have done so much in just one month's time because of the experience I have from FA and Godot.

If I pursued the top-down Divine Arms, i will lose weeks of dev time trying to learn how to do that properly in Godot. And at the same time the sprite work (also done by me) will double because of the isometric angles to animate all that.

Again, everything was fast for the demo because I used the experience from Forbidden Arms.

Now that's out of the way, our first girl will be Sister Fux!

The animation above will have 2 extra camera angles in the works as well as facial expressions. But basically she will be the new guide for the game as Mahalai will have a minor role for DA:Origins.

Sigurd is the main protagonist of Origins.

His designs are still in the sheets and the character in the demo is just something i animated quickly to just visualize, but yeah the final sprite will have two floating Divine Arms as his weapon and for casting spells.

Siggy is in the game but is stuck inside a crystal that Sigurd will protect.

SIggy will also be playable as well as Mahalai as player skins later.

Siggy will have game over sex animations but it will be least prioritized as I would like to see if the game gets more support. If it does, Chris Armin will animate it. (with a fucking contract this time) If not, then I'll do the animations myself.

Game Mechanics:

Divine Arms: Origins will be a simple tower defense game where you can mix-match and upgrade elemental runes to protect Siggy inside the crystal. You will be roaming around in a procedurally created (hopefully wave collapsed) map that will be an endless trek.

In the overworld above, you will traverse the world with your floating island. You will encounter pirates, flying enemies, inquisitors and all other bat-shit monsters that wants to take the island and it's threatening crystal down.

There will be random event encounters as well and the farther you go, the gamestage ramps up for challenge. Later on, Sigurd can even leave the island and visit towns below.

The floating Island is your home and you will be able to manage it. Extend the length of the island, set barriers and anticipate highjacks by placing traps.

Sigurd can levitate and fly. On an already flying island. He will be super fast and target enemies better at the cost of time. Casting, After-casts, Special attacks and Super Special attacks will be much slower while flying.

Sigurd does not have a HP bar. He can be hit and get toppled anytime and will always get up. However, the time spent recovering from a fall gets enemies closer to the crystal. Crystal HP goes to zero and game over.

Prisoner Management

Originally, Sigurd will have a cupid's arrow to get the ladies for the prawn scenes, but yeah, not gonna sit well with patreon, so instead, Sigurd will get to imprison enemies.

There will be a minigame to convince prisoners to defect. Gotta get them consent lmao.

Afterwards, they will then be fuckable, get pregnant, do jobs and assist in battles and upgrades. Once the lady prison is ready, we'll of course have voting who gets animated in first.

There will be tons of upgrades as well as special summons from other NSFW game guests, so I'm very excited to get those things in.

Anyway there will be lots of stuff not implemented yet but it will get there eventually.

For now, I hope you like the demo and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for the support!!!
