It was a requested quick sketch by one of the patrons for some meme.
He said he once saw Siggy and Mahalai in them, and it's a better picture than the blightpurge sprite sheet lol.
Hey guys. I'm alive. But lifeless. I already forgot what the sun and the outside looks like.
Anyway, I've 5 more tasks to do before the next playable update, tho it's the last things needed to be done, I foresee it won't make it for my birthday. I really tried but it's just overwhelming even with my new ugly glasses. After 5-6 hours, I still get dizzy. But I'm very close. And here's what's left for me to do:
MINIGAME REWORK
-You no longer need to hover your mouse every time on the icon.
-When the icon goes berserk, you must now move your own icon away from the enraged icon or the enemy meter will go up rapidly if it catches the Siggy icon. (We'll have a mini siggy icon hovering the stage that will follow your mouse, btw)
NEW FOREST AND RUINS BIOME
-We will slowly redesign the current background. It will still be there in the tutorial until we also redo the tutorial, but I'll redo the doodads, walls, trees and object shapes to fit the new dungeon engine. There will be placeholders this next update, so keep that in mind. (I'm even tempted to make a level editor, but maybe in the future)
GANKER / DEVOURER GAME OVER SCENE
-Touch ups and polish for this scene as there's a lot of stuff going on here. This will be the last time I will be doing extreme touch ups and shading because the next sets will be the animator's job now.
BLUE SPELL STUN TRAP
-When you're set to blue spells and click, you will no longer do a Buzz Lightsaw projectile. Siggy will now crouch and plant a stun trap. This will help her target better with the Glory Beam.
BLIGHT PURGE VISUALS
-We also just finished the animation for blight purge, the final red spell upgrade. We'll be sure to put this in for the update. Here's what the sheet looks like. I'll arrange them and animate ingame. Right click open in new tab
I'll post a video whenever I finish each of these tasks and post here for update.
------------ABOUT INDULGE MECHANIC-----------
I got about 8 or so messages (here, newgrounds and facebook) about indulge mechanic, and YES all enemies will have the scene. It's not just a picture that I posted before. They will all be animated. In fact, here's a preview of the first KEYFRAMES the animator's working on right now. Right click open in new tab. Do excuse how it looks at the moment. it will be refined later when the inbetween animations are worked at.
The only thing about the indulge mechanic is the first two (Ganker and Bloodhunter) scenes will not make it to the next playable update. Unless you think it should be there, be informed that it will take another month to get them in. So I'll let you guys decide and vote.
------------HIRING NEW ANIMATOR-----------
Lastly, because of the mild vertigo I feel whenever I hit the 6 hour work day, I'm looking for another animator who can help out fill the 2-6 hours I can no longer give like before. This way, the scenes get finished faster and more H content for you guys.
So if anyone here knows one who can do the same quality we do in Divine Arms, is hard working, honest and professional to do NSFW animations... then I'd like to hire that person. Have the person email me at godseedstudios@gmail.com
