I myself will be back at work tomorrow once we get home. The holidays were as tiring as always, hopping from one family to another, but I did get enough rest. And I knew it was gonna have some boring moments, so I brought my pen tablet and a few PS files so I can do some minor work related stuff while the families are busy mingling.
Did a new tree design. Will probably stick to simpler trees now so the player can easily predict their visibility once behind it. The current trees are wild, random but can become unpredictable resulting in players getting lost and hit by enemies behind it.
Did a bush. Come versions after 2.0, you will be able to destroy these.
Also did some tiled fences so I can stop you from going places you're not supposed to go.
Do check the 3 images below and notice the grass. There are subtle differences on them and the first image is the original. Should we keep the original or do you think one of the two alterations would be better?

Back when we had a little misunderstanding with Chris, I did a backup plan of new flash animations. Nothing much to show as they were just animation forms of squares and rectangles. (Imagine stick figures) But I did do quite a lot of drafts.
I'll finish one set a month and do it every weekend break. Maybe I can send it out as rewards.
2.0 RELEASE:
Here's what's left to do for 2.0 (in order of priority) pushing to bring it out this month. Realistically aiming to finish half of the list and release it as v1.95 this month.
15 - 20 rooms.
This will cover the entire area 1 biome or 5 crystals in the main map. This will also have the final design for the tutorial stage. No more 1.9 Glitch designs.
REMOVE ARENAS.
Will need to remove this one for now. It will be buggy to keep. The future arena stages will be accessible thru NPC.
Crystals Teleporter CHECKPOINT .
As I mentioned in previous posts, the world is now seamless. Attempting to purify an already pure crystal will take you back to the main overworld map to do upgrades. Clicking on crystals you've finished will take you there in case you missed some things or maybe look for easter eggs and secrets I added.
Remove shield upgrade. Set as powerup
Self explanatory. The new short-range blasts will replace the upgrade.
GAME OVER SCENES
Self explanatory. (May not have sfx if released by v1.95)
tTraps / cConfuse / sSlow
We have damage traps, so there will also be charm and slow versions. When the player steps on the confuse trap, movement keys will be reversed.
Meme cheat = fast cast
Since Fungus Brute is in, meme cheat will enable fast casting.
