Family from another city visited and staying over almost a week now. Got 3 people celebrating for July and one is from in-laws. Sorry guys, this can't be helped and I never expected it. Never got anything done for days now with all the outings and hangovers. I'll just deal with this first and finish what's left for the demo as soon as possible.

You should write a schedule so that people know what time your gonna take off or what days your working on the project. So they have nothing to say or you don't have to repeat yourself. XD I'm fine either way! Keep doing what your doing, and enjoy yourself.

This probably should have been communicated a bit sooner :-/ Not going to pull support because you're making something I'm interested in and I think you're doing a good job making a quality game, but I feel the community's patience got a bit tested on this one. Everyone knows that life happens, but when your last communication was that you were most of the way done on something that literally all your supporters have been eagerly anticipating, you probably don't want the very next thing they see to be a very late-coming delay notice. Stepping up the communication would have gone a long way to avoiding a lot of frustrated patrons I think. <edit>Not trying to sound negative, honestly. Just hoping to provide a bit of constructive criticism</edit>

The only thing I can think of is that he honestly just doesn't give a fuck. He's got your money and nobody to hold him accountable he will drag this out and milk money out of you for as long as he can. Im getting such strong breeding season vibes from this guy it's insane. Like really?! I'm too hungover to work on this game you guys are paying me 8000 dollars a month to make?! Wtf?! The first demo with the only sex scene we have came out in what 2015? Early 2016? Very close to just dropping my support at this point. "All the hangovers" - come on. Show some restraint and do more work. Progress is too slow. I'm used to being polite and understanding but making a message about how you keep going out and getting drunk isn't going to get you my sympathy or understanding.

I have supported him over months but there is nearly no progress he made and all we get are this **** excuses. Srsly i make small to medium sized games in my free time and cannot spend as much time on working on it as you. So tell me! How can it be that i can still make a better progress than you ? I am out guys

I know that patreon has a seriously problem about creators who just milk money from their patrons, Ive paused a pledge who is already 5!!!Months behind... every month the same excuses... ViperV is far far far away from being like this. And the progress... have you played the first demo and compare it to the new previews? Its an entire different art AND level of designe... He also did a break(?) from this game for few months till he got his animator... so this Demo will be the actually first Demo... It may sounds like fanboy/girl talking, but since Ive seen alot on patreon (hello breeding season, could ve been such an amazing gamel would ve been a dreamgame...) I'm very optimistic about ViperV. And pls dont forget... he is neither FOW studio nor Nimbus which have many people to write codes and do animations. And if you are really that fast, well, see you by FOW as worker soon. More Animators/Coder might come with the time if this demo will be great and when he does more adversiting for the game (srsly, do more adversiting) and only when he want to "share" his project I understand the feelings but your text sounds really like a meanie :c

#Phalan First of all i apologize for sounding rude but this had to be said and there are probably many people who can relate to my opinion of stopping the support. I totally agree with you. Family is important. BUT as you see above he even wrote „Never got anything done for days now with all the outings and hangovers.“ What especially got on my nerves from that sentence is that it shows us that he has not done any progress for days. Many of us are probably working around 43 hours a week and we all do manage these family stuff in our free time. So there should be in the first case no problem with having his family at his home staying but he still has to finish his work like we all do in our workplaces. If he now would claim to compensate it with working in his „free time“ then i am all the more shocked of the progress. There are people waiting for the full game to be released one day and we will not wait forever. So there is always an unofficial schedule for every game that gets support. Last but not least his art is of course outstanding and the animations Chris is doing beautiful but he clearly lacks in programming skills so please tell me why he does not look for an PROGRAMMER and do not come with „after the demo is finished“. He has to start looking beforehand. Also there is enough support coming from us to give him the financial possibilities to hire a skilled one with experience

I'm happy this is an actual game and all but MGI has gotten over 10x the amount of work done in a shorter timeframe and started out with much less patreon support (not to mention is actually a one man startup.) We've seen one "stage demo" that pretty much felt like a small update to the demo from newgrounds from wellllll over a years span of time. Stop defending the situation man the stage demo is not an improvement over the original demo its just a more stable rehash of it. Cmon its a flash game it doesnt need a studio the size of FOW to make into a workable and presentable update every 3 months.

You my friend... you ve no clue at all sorry. MGI had help from the beginning, you compare a 26-30k $ project each month with a 8k $ project... that are lightyears difference...lightyears. The platform doesnt matter for a game it is "flash" okay and? The animations are as difficult as the animations for MGI just extreeemely difference how you make it. Codeing is different but not more difficult, you just need other software (usually expensive software). I worked a lot with gamestudios mainly promotion and adversiting and spend a lot of time with the animators and programmers of some games, and it doesnt matter if you work 100h for 30fps scene in anime style or 100h for 30fps in 3d model... since they get in loop anyway. FOW has not a big studio, the most of them work from different countries. But anyway I'm out of this topic. You didnt even got a sarcasm about the FOW point Support him or support him not. "hey its only a flashgame with a own animator" lmao you are really clueless. For myself I prefer time with familiy always over work and take my time as long as I need so I understand his statement. But before I start talking about how he act, I wait till the progress AFTER this Demo, cuz as I mentioned, art level is way way higher than in the first demo with the one scene, If he does no progress few months later after this demo you actually can start to talk.

Thanks everyone! I know it's another broken promise, but I have been out of the family's circle a few times back. Had a talk with the wife and I owe them this break for once. Coding is difficult, but game design is harder and they're all on my shoulders. For those unhappy, feel free to drop your support and message me for a refund. You will still get the demo when it's done if you've pledge within requirements. For those still here despite all my bullshit, I thank you more for staying and believing. Tonight, I hope is the last of the celebrations and ugh the drinking. Just because there's nothing shown does not mean there's nothing being done. Thousands of lines of codes are written and 10+ scenes are being done by Chris.

I wanna say I appreciate your honesty, but if you're seriously saying you couldn't get any work done because you've been partying too hard... Are you fucking joking dude? Just lie next time. Say you got the flu or some shit. Or, as others have said, just tell us ahead of time that you need some time off to go spend time with your family. I'm pretty sure nobody would have held that against you.

we been waiting for it for a while so you cant blame people for being annoyed, as an ex supporter of breeding season i can see this going either way and tbh I don't really want to deal with that again. If there isn't any respectable improvement or updates next month then like many others i'll put it on ice.
