Boop! 

Hello it's Terry again and sorry again this week for being slightly late. I'll try and not make a habit of this since we are delaying the game update patch until next Friday (6th of May). The patch is actually ready but there are small bugs here and there. When the patch is out no doubt some of you will want to stream it and I really don't it to be a buggy experience so we are cleaning things up a bit before the patreon build - sorry!

Now, onto what we did in the last week!

Ronnel, our super artist has made further improvements on the store. I think it was pretty bland before (it still is tbh) but a little more populated. The items generated are random each day, and you can just walk up to items to purchase very much like a life-sim should be. I'm warming up to the idea of being able to buy things from the shelf rather than the checkout counter!

Obviously, the above is not the final version yet, but it's an overall improvement! We are going to face a lot of issues with furniture, because we will keep adding them in the game but the RNG system will make it difficult to get the exact item you want. I suppose that's what makes the game exciting! If worst comes to worst we can always add a second furniture store to sell different brands to make sure the RNG is more favourable. 

We won't be lazy with it of course, it will be a secondary unique furniture store. We won't just paste futon again, because I think different brands competing with each other in the game is very exciting!

Berry has been improved since last week with more detail. We reverted back on to the furniture store so there's a little less progress than I would have liked. Still though, this is pretty good going! Even though there are some things which are just props (for now, but props will be removed altogether eventually), we do intend on allowing the player to upgrade their phone with all sorts of cool features!

The electronics store will function similarly to the furniture store. Not absolutely everything is randomised since some staples will be sold at all times (phone upgrade for example). 

I was a bit bothered by the fact that placing furniture inside the housing inventory didn't have an animation so we added one. Except, it looks sort of creepy... (gif not included yet lol) so we still have some improvements on that front. However, I do hope that by next Friday we will have an updated animation for that!

Sorry for the delay again guys because I know some of you were looking forward to an update. It has almost been two months, but this patch is a lot bigger than the previous ones and is a major change in a lot of our existing system (to something much better!). Also we will see less lag too across most systems playing the game even if potato. The next patch, I suspect the one in late May won't take as long since it'll be more iterative (although big on gameplay). Adding in huge new systems is what takes the longest time and we've moved past that for now after next Friday.
