Hey everyone!

Just to let you know that the new video is available, and it's spoiler free!

When you start Persona 5, you'll be greeted with an objective telling you to "live an honest student life. At first, this seems like a joke; it's too abstract to be anything else. In this episode of Writing on Games, however, I want to argue that through things as granular as the way stat rewards are handled, Persona 5 makes living that honest life a concrete challenge that acts as the driving force of the game's narrative.

Sincerely hope you enjoy it. It was a lot of fun to make! Thank you SO much for your continued support. Can't tell you all how much it means to me!

Any issues, lemme know!

Just pledged after following for a while, good shit

Much like Ace, I too had just pledget after following for a good while (still need to go back and watch everything). I wanted to thank you Hamish for the amazing work you're doing for our medium. I'm an artist working in the industry, with a fine art background and I feel the depth of discussion end exploration on the subject of video games is lagging behind (as expected) more established art mediums to an appalling degree (especially in terms of mainstream journalism). Channels like yours are really fighting the good fight.
