Here we are again folks! I mentioned it last time, but I'm taking a look at BPM: Bullets Per Minute, the '90s shooter/rhythm game mashup I thought I could only dream of up until now. Going in, I had my doubts that such a combo could even function, but I'm happy to report that I think BPM lives up to its promise! While not a perfect game, it nails everything in its core loop that it needs to, and even went above and beyond in ways I didn't expect it to by utilizing its rhythm mechanics to make each gun feel special to play with. I had an absolute blast with this one, and I hope I can convince you guys to pick it up too!

While I don't have anything lined up at the present moment, expect another review next week! Until then!

Bullets Per Minute Review: Hard Rocking Rhythm Shooting!

Today's review is on Bullets Per Minute, a rhythm game mashed up with an old school run and gun '90s fps. It's got the metal, it's got the strafing, and most importantly, it's got the guns. BPM's best feature is far and away the unique way it treats its arsenal, utilizing its unique rhythm-based gameplay to give each gun a unique rhythm complete with its own multi-step reload process. To hear all about that and more, check out this First Five review of BPM! Note: I did receive a free review copy of BPM.
