I always thought the end of this show with curt turning on the Horsemen and slamming flairs head in the cage not only killed the town of Greensboro but was the start of the downhill fall of WCW I'm not talking in a business sense as AOL/Time Warner insured that but in terms of story and general fan perception. A few month later we get the sting and hogan fumble and 1998 while the biggest ticket selling year for wcw was kind of a mess. They never recovered after this night.
