The WWE leads the known universe in passing out Kool aid for people to drink. You throw enough shit at the wall and eventually some of it has to stick. I'm not even sure where to start or where I'd end, so I'll just stic with this. All these Vince-isms don't raise what wrestlers are to the general public. What it does is it makes them more of a joke to them AND their loayal fans who think these things are as stupid as can be. It's Vince himself that seems to have some weird type of deep rooted hatred for what wrestling was. I know a couple people who have made a lot of money in businesses they hate. Just thinking about all the "perception is reality" and "we make movies', pal" crap along with the revisionist history and other WWE propaganda is making my head hurt. Once somebody has drank the Kool aid, you can't make them unthink their new reality. smh One thing I will say that I already have is that the WWE has pretty much no place to go but up and I'm actually optimistic now that he's gone. Wrestling was the way it was for a reason. Vince tried to evolve it in all the wrong ways except for the national expansion. Triple H is an actual wrestling fan and a real student of the game (no pun intended) and will hopefully renew a lot of people's faith in the WWE giving out a decent WRESTLING product. I gotta go before this topic drives me to drink.

I love when you talk about the old stuff and the great stories of stuff that we don’t get insight into. There’s been a lot of wrestling news lately and I think it’s important to get that perspective because it’s one we don’t have but I do love the old stories as well.
