Drackonthanri (Patreon)

Generally speaking I'm a pretty vanilla artist, but along the lines sometimes I want to challenge myself with something more unique, so there we go! Drackonthanri is also the most complex character I've ever painted, to the point I had to invent a new method of working to handle him.

This along with the previous painting are among the first I do after dropping the requirement of a background for painted work. While I do enjoy painting scenery I feel they tend to steal focus from the character themselves (and as a side benefit, I could lower the base price for painted art).
