I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I'm having with the u4ia so far. In fact, I'm enjoying it so much that I forgot today was dev diary day, which is why this is a little later than normal for the update.

Though, as the new art style is hugely improved, it also takes longer to render. Animations take 4 times as long, and story renders take 15 times longer than they did for LoF. So it was easy to build up a queue, and I'm now rendering 24/7.

I don't expect this to be a huge problem down the line, as it frees up time to do the Ren'Py part and other things in between. If it should become a problem later on, I'll invest in another render rig.

One week in, 537 animated frames and 103 story renders have completed rendering, with about three times that already posed and in queue. I'm also done upgrading the first 8 characters.

I've finished the prologue and intro, and have just started the first major scene. It's designed in a way so you will have as much choice as possible. That means you'll always have a choice of who to spend time with while doing the scenes and events related to the story. You can focus on someone if you want, or spend time alone waiting for the right one. There's romantic girls and more loose ones.

The prologue focuses on the woman you see in the image, Ana Vasquez.

"If you run a huge corporation, you want Ana as your second in command. She's the very definition of professional and is not afraid to go through fire and flames in order for the business to flourish and thrive. Whatever you ask, she'll do - if it benefits the company."

That's it for now. More next week.

Have a nice weekend, and stay safe out there.
