Dev Diary, 14th of August, 2020 (Patreon)

This has been another week where I've been focusing on pouring out renders.

Total count is 301 static renders and 1102 animated frames.

I never really focus on the actual render count myself, so I never know how many renders I will end up with in the final release. But it's a steady process of going through one after the other until I'm happy with the scene and move on to the next.

As for the scenes, I've completed 5 as of now. That might not sound like a whole lot, but one of the scenes consists of 2 locations, another of 6 locations, one of them was huge where all the people in the story interract. So I feel good about the progress.

A few words about chapter 4 and how it will pan out to avoid any confusion about it.

As mentioned before, I will divide it into three parts. The first part will be the one taking the longest time to complete, as it includes more than half the actual story that is Chapter 4, and (as voted by you) will focus on your relationship with Cece and the Stephanie path. As the actual time to complete, it's likely to be as long as the two first chapters (8-9 weeks). I won't try to predict an exact date. It could be 7 or 10 weeks as well, but I will give a release date the instant I'm comfortable in doing so. :) The two final parts of Chapter 4 should be faster to complete.

Starting from next week, I will be moving the chapter previews into seperate posts for the correct Tier. This has been long overdue, to give the correct Tier their money's worth. These Dev Diary's will of course continue to be available for all tiers. That also goes for the Sneak Peak and Release date videos which is available for all as well.
