Hey guys, so Thomas Soderstrom over at Tom's Hardware has updated his MSI MPG X570 Plus testing for those interested:  https://www.tomshardware.com/features/retesting-msi-mpg-x570-plus

I won't give my opinion on the content, but I thought this might be a good opportunity to create a Patreon vlog where I answer some of your questions relating to VRM thermal testing.

You can ask anything really, questions about the Tom's Hardware update, questions about our testing or really anything to do with  VRM thermal testing. This might be an interesting topic to discuss now because at some point in the future we'll be diving into AMD B550 and Intel Z490 testing.

Hey Steve. You mentioned in the Discord the other day that when you tested the Crosshair VIII Hero you believe you used the extra 4 pin connector. Can you talk about the pros and cons of testing with more than the standard single 8 pin connector?

Hello. Say you have a motherboard that because of VRM quality has trouble keeping up with a 3950X processor. Would putting thermal pads/heatsinks make these VRMs properly keep up with said processor?
