Haha!  My face at that opening scene...  Amazing episode!  That dog...  That evil little dog...  Someone needs to call animal control.  Well, I guess that wouldn't exactly help.  Not if the dog can literally summon hordes of demon canines to rip you apart at any given time.  I KNEW there had to be a direct correlation between Rem/Ram and that story Subaru told!

(7:30): Roswaal flying is hugely impressive. I don't know the specifics of it, but it uses a complex combination of Earth, Wind and Fire magic. And IIRC, like probably only 5 or 6 people in the whole world are capable to cast such magic (as in, they can cast all of the component spells simultaneously), and even among them, to be able to cast it non verbally and to be able to finely control it is hugely impressive. Also he can probably go about 150 km/hour while flying, so he can zoom. (15:05): No, Mabeasts are everywhere, and this forest has a bunch of them. (17:45): I got no idea, and I don't think it's ever explained. It just sort of shows up when it's needed and disappears when it's not. (25:10): I think they fixed the barrier before they went into the forest. But I could be wrong on that. (30:10): Emilia never interacted with the dog. The dog was at the village, and Emilia never went to the village. (30:15): Rem did say that Mabeasts were creations of the Witch. And the dogs are Mabeasts.
