The GQ list was made by merging the personal lists of a bunch of different people in the games media industry. So that means BOTW was on mosts people's list making it number 1. It's not a serious list and you couldn't possibly make a serious list. On Metacritic there 2101 games over an 85/100, it includes a lot repeats but we can assume it's well over 1000. You can't possibly make a real top 100.

the original tetris didnt have the ability to store pieces so they did add that mechanic
