Hantengu's backstory perfectly plays into his powers he never took responsibility for his own actions so his powers manifested in having "other people" do the fighting for him

Yea the story behind Gyokko is probably best not to be animated. Hantengu is even worse than is portrayed.

I would have expected The Normies of all people to sympathize with Mitsuri's backstory the most. Especially the women on the couch. She was essentially unloved by men because she did not confirm to society's expectations of what a woman should be. Even in modern society, it was only in the last 10-20 years that a woman being "thick" became acceptable/desired. Before then, you had many women trying to conform to the near anorexia figure of bikini models to appeal to men. And while I don't agree with the saying of "healthy at any weight," I'm glad that Western society is no longer forcing women to conform to a certain weight to be deemed attractive. However, we still have a long ways to go before we reach true equity for women. Now back to Demon Slayer(lol). According to the manga, Gyokko's vases are actually pretty fancy and are worth a lot of money. So, the vases that he create get sold around. One of the vases just so happened to end up in the Swordsmith Village. And being that Gyokko can travel to any of his vases, that's how he discovered the location of the Swordsmith Village. I doubt the demons actually know how to directly get to the village. Nevertheless, it was explained in the manga that the sword smiths have backup hidden villages that they can move to. Every demon created by Muzan has his blood so they are connected to him in some way. Tamayo and Nezuko managed to break free from his influence. He can not control them or read their thoughts, but he can still "feel" them which is how he knew Nezuko was able to overcome the sun. It was explained early on in season 3 that all breathing forms are derived from Sun Breathing so it makes sense that Tanjiro can do Thunder Breathing. You can view the breath forms as instruments. My theory is every demon slayer can use every instrument at the most basic level, but there are some instruments that they are better suited to play. Tanjiro gave up Water Breathing because he realized that it wasn't a good fit for him and Sun Breathing felt better to him. And on a similar note, to be able to move fast, everyone has to be able to focus their breathing into their legs. Thunder Breathing users just take that to the next level. I'm pretty sure Hantengu's backstory wasn't there to make you feel sorry for him. He was just a shitty guy who didn't want to take responsibility for his actions. So whenever he acted out of anger or whatever emotion, he felt it wasn't really him. His demon forms were just the personification of that. And was Micky asleep last episode? lol Mitsuri basically got a whole episode dedicated to her. I definitely agree that her fight wasn't as intense as last season's finale but she did get her time to shine. Of the Hashira's we've seen fight so far, her "sword" and Love Breathing were the best suited for fighting the hatred demon. And do note that Mitsuri did not retire like Tengen. We may see her in action again. Oh, and like most anime openings, the opening contained a big spoiler. Nezuko being in the sunlight was shown and a brief scene of her muzzle laying in the grass. However, some things aren't a spoiler unless you know the context and not every scene from anime openings actually happen in the show. Anyway, great reaction as usual.

Thats I support openings, as they rather hype up than spoil. Once I watch the season, then opening, I know it looks like spoiler, but how would I know anything without context. I support all the things you mentioned, women in earlier times, standing out of crowd was not seen as attractive for anyone. Tanjiro being able to do multiple forms at some level because of sun breathing origins.
