1. The first half of S4 is in 1999 still 2. UC Sunnydale is not a community college. It's a regular university and part of the UC system (but fictional).

There really should be at least a short post-episode discussion on these Angel uncut videos. Hopefully, going forward, they will include that. Also, was Marketa unavailable for just this first episode, or is she out on the whole Angel thing altogether?

For those wondering, Angel Ep 5&6 is currently still on Twitch, and have a small discussion after each episode (not the usual long edited reaction discussions, but a couple of mins of talk / interaction with Twitch chat). Tbh, there is not much to talk about in the early episodes of Angel, so it is a good test bed to try and figure a plan to use going forward. Although, as the show evolves it does start using darker themes and subject matter, so there will be a need for bigger discussions at some point imo. But I trust the Normies to organically know when an episode should be talked about a little bit more

one COMMUNITY college does not a college town make........never got why buffy had to move out other than for plot reasons. they are not rich and its a small town so she obviously could commute everyday like she did in this ep. bus rides = study and homework time

Well in this case the villains may not have escaped but they did discredit /injure Amanda Waller by nearly succeeding and now Hugo Strange is the Warden of Belle Reve so there is no end to the sort of stuff they could have planned there.

Yay soo excited for Angel. S1 is really good, S2 & 3 are GOATS, S4 is pretty bad and then S5 is a return to GOAT status, I think you guys will heavily enjoy it.

I was a little worried about Angel being uncut-only because I'm usually too lazy to keep syncing up footage manually, but I really like how they split the difference on this one. The reference footage is so blurry and quiet that no sane person would consider it a copyright violation, but it's enough reference to follow along if you've already seen the episode before.

i concur, i voted against the twitch only angel reaction. i'm cool with with it now, but i am not fond of not seeing a discussion after. angel as a series is not as good as buffy as a whole, but it still deserves the same treatment..... but i digress, i need a angel discussion

As long as they watch in the correct order, esp for later crossover stuff, im fine. not every early case of the week episode justifies an uncut viewing but w/e, its a cute rewatch

I'm part of a minority that really enjoyed S4 of Buffy, maybe because I was in university at the time I watched it. No spoilers, but AFAICR it's S1 of Angel that has the most crossover with Buffy, maybe the editors could put only the "crossover" episodes on YouTube (you'll know them when you get to them).

Great to have Buffy & Angel uncuts but it’s a shame you can’t have 5-10 mins post Angel to give brief thoughts. I get you aren’t editing for YT videos, but it’d be nice to have a brief bit of what you think.

I think Buffy season 4 has probably the highest amount of really strong episodes, but the season storyline left something to be desired in execution. I think thematically it made sense and worked decently, but everything with XXXXXXXXXXx was under cooked.

We may have recorded that episode before the first release of Angel and stopped the recording before the discussion. Moving forward we will def include it!

wow that interaction with Cordelia at the end legit made me tear up. she's one of my favorite characters in the entire Buffyverse and that moment when she asked if Angel wanted her help at the end was so heart-warming
