... is there such a thing?? The Clone Wars couch finds themselves 8 episodes from finishing this show, currently riding on the high of the introduction of THEE Bad Batch. But just like Echo, it's going to be hard out there for us, veterans of the intergalactic war.

We will catch up with the remaining two episodes of Tales of the Jedi as soon as Clone Wars end, but afterwards we will be finding ourselves at a crossroads, and we need your help with navigating us in the right direction. Which of these two shows should we watch after Clone Wars and Tales of the Jedi?!

YOU DECIDE!!!!

Wait, if you're watching Clone Wars in chronological order and have 8 episodes left, you shouldn't have been introduced to The Bad Batch yet. The correct order for S7 is 5-8, 1-4, 9-12. It's not a big deal if you're doing release order, it just makes the timeline a little weird, most people don't even notice.

Rebels is lowkey bad for a while tbh.

Arkonios

Rebels first season is rough but stay strong as the series picks up in quality the same way that Clone Wars did. Some of my favorite Star Wars characters are from this show

I would say Rebels.. it is the most congruent of the two... Bad Batch while fabulous, Rebels is more apt and it is more broad to understanding life after the Clone Wars, leading to the Rebellion. It will make sense wheb UT comes to the Mandalorian and other shows

Harry

Both please

Jim Watkins

definitely bad batch, it gives great backstory for rebels, and fewer episodes so you'll get to rebels quickly, while doing rebels first could take a couple years before seeing bad batch

McPickle

Bad Batch is shorter so just get it out of the way then rebels. Apart from one green character in bad batch you don’t really need to know anything from rebels.

Anonymous

All of us know that bad batch is shorter. Our vote for rebels is mainly for them to understand the Mando 3 and Ahsoka shows. There's an artist that will heavily feature in both those shows, also green character and Droid are big too.

Thoko

Neither

While the first season of Rebels is rough, it is a complete show with some amazing episodes from Season 2 onward. And it is a complete story. Then definitely Bad Batch. But that is an ongoing show that is still airing, and if you start that one first, you'll be caught up quickly and then have to do Rebels in between seasons anyway, and the whole thing would just get choppy.

Bad Batch is unfinished and has been made with the idea that the viewers have seen Rebels before (hence the "cameos"). Rebels should always go first in any viewing order for first timers

McPickle

There’s no way you guys will be done with rebels by the time Ashoka or mando start. Yes there’s important things you should know that’s in rebels but the biggest thing is in the series finally. Do what you Guy’s think is best. But I’m just saying

You guys need to watch Bad Batch first. Chronologically it makes sense, as it takes place directly after the Clone Wars. It also explains a lot of plot holes in Rebels.

I voted for Rebels because I do think Rebel's is more important for the upcoming shows (it at least seems that way). Especially if you do what you did with clone wars and react to 2 episodes at a time. I also think reaction wise, Rebels is a complete show. If you start with Bad Batch your going to catch up rather quickly and then have to wait for the new season. It might become complicated if you have to keep switching off between Rebels and Bad Batch between new Batch seasons, or watching both at the same time, instead of just completing Rebels and then moving on to Batch. But I also think if your super hype for bad batch and are willing to deal with what I wrote above, I wouldnt be angry or anything if you started there. It would be interesting to see your rebels reaction when youve watched the batch first, because you would be excited for different things in rebels which would be fun. If anything Batch in certain ways could get your hyped for Rebels.

Rebels first please... bad batch is a fun show just more impactful stories in Rebels and other shows

Antonio Maderias

Let's be honest here. we all KNOW the Normies are going to react to the Ahsoka series immediately upon release, the hype train will be too much and the views will DEFINITELY be high. With that in mind we all know that Rebels is ABSOLUTELY INTEGRAL to truly understanding the stakes, storyline, and purpose of the Ahsoka series along with the Mandalorian S3. Bad Batch is really fun but just because it is next in chronological order doesn't mean it should be next. Rebels all together is 75 episodes, if you do 2 a week like The Clone Wars it can be finished in 9 months, most likely just in time before the Ahsoka series airs. I truly do hope yall get around to Bad Batch and yall are adults and gonna do whatever you like regardless I hope you do watch Rebels first. First season is a weee bit slow tho so power through you guys:D Whatever you decide ima watch either way tho. Much love.

Saifu

I really don't think they can finish in time before Ahsoka drops. I think Ahsoka is dropping somewhere between July-October. It's gonna take the rest of the year for them to finish Rebels if they stick to 2 episodes per week.

Why are people saying Rebels first that is the dumbest way to do this ever. They should do Bad Batch first there are only a few episodes. Doing rebels first makes no sense. They will regret it.

Trey Hinds

The pilot episode of bad batch has a cameo that will make no sense if they don't do rebels plus it is far more important to the rest of star wars lore at this point.

Sara-Jayne

Totally here for rebels. I love bad batch but for me rebels is some of the best Star Wars

Razzlepuss

Guys we all know Rebels is better but there are literally spoilers and they should do the short season of Bad Batch first ughhh

kai

rebels first thats easy its part of the main continuity, bad batch is like a mini series you dont really need to watch

Milan Jovanovic

Rebels is nearly the worst Star Wars property I would say to skip it as it is also really long with only a few good moments

Anonymous

rebels is so amazing and if u rly wanna watch the ashoka series later this year its also a must watch

MajestNick

Its mid. It is important to the continuity, however. I'd love for them to go back and reanimate it with a better budget someday, it would help make it easier to watch.

Milan Jovanovic

Agree as a show it’s mid but it’s by far my least favourite I’ve watched and it would be better with clone wars animation style it just looks better
