Buffy takes a while to get into; especially as an adult rather than a teenager like the characters here. You have to get used to their world and then the stakes. I think the later seasons are more timeless

So I hate to even ask... But it seemed like you guys were having doubts about continuing Buffy since you did the poll last week after dropping the first episode. Have you decided anything? I just don't want to get invested in your reactions if you're gonna turn around and drop them after a few.

They also did a poll about whether people are or aren't watching The Walking Dead. I wouldn't read too much into it. We just gotta make sure we watch the reactions (editing also on youtube) and share with people so the view counts are decent.

Ok thanks Chelsea... I don't really know their system. I was just here for parks and rec originally but resigned up when I saw this, so I'm a little hesitant cause this is the only show I'm here for now.

Ultimately it depends on views I'm pretty sure. They seemed to be enjoying Batman but the views weren't there and they cited that as their reason for dropping the show

I do appreciate the honesty with that... If the views aren't there I get it. It's a business. Tho the first season always gets the worst view counts based on other reactors, so I hope we can get past that part. The crazy thing is, there are reactors that have been able to make this show their full time job... The Buffy stans love to watch the full reactions on Patreon.

Looking back at season 1 I'm pretty sure the views aren't going to come with this first season. I had to drag myself to get through it on my re-watch. Season 2 and beyond in comparison is like a completely different show. Obviously some of the same troupes are there, but the writing get's a lot more tight. You really start to care for all the characters. Whedon seems to have figured out exactly what he wants to do with his show to make people want more. Imo the views will come. Just gotta be patient. The Buffy fanbase is humongous guys. Maybe you should try promoting your reactions in other parts of the internet.

Well one of the major 'definitely not' influences on their choice strongly encouraged that 2 full seasons is what they should attempt before possibly deciding they don't like the show enough to continue. So promote viewership until then in case that helps?

True. But majority imo were not good Blake. My favorite episodes in season 1 were episodes 1, 2, and 13. An i believe there was one more episode that was pretty good as well. Angel was in it. But Episodes 3 - 12 vary in quality from bad - okay. Minus that one episode i mentioned.

They definitely base it on views. Never forget them dropping Batman the Animated Series because of "lack of views" :(

Agreed, if u arent a fan halfway through the second season u arent gonna be a fan. Season 1 has some solid episodes but overall is definitely the weakest in the series

Sarah was the only one close to her character's age, everyone else was early to late 20s. Sarah was 19 when they were shooting season 1.
