Those scenes of Ritsu asking Mob if he's ok, if he wants to talk, etc. wasn't to show how Ritsu "has changed", it was a series of examples of what Ristu was talking about when he said that he was always worried about Mob getting stressed out and using his powers. He was attentive and kind to Mob because he was afraid of him, and wanted to keep Mob calm. I feel like a lot of people miss this so it was worth repeating.
