I think I'd say it's important to remember that Hinata is still in training to becoming a good all around player compared to his teammates. Tsuki is definitely a better/well-rounded player in comparison but he recognizes that Hinata has a lot of talent for the game which makes him feel inferior. On the other hand, Hinata never learned the basics of volleyball.
