Fun fact: Yang has not used her semblance since V3. Which means that we still haven’t seen what it looks like in the new engine. She really took what her father said to heart about using her semblance sparingly and not relying on it.

Yang said that when Raven forms a "bond" with someone she can open a portal to them. What this implies is that when she cares about someone, and they mutually care for her she can use her semblence to get to them however what iit leaves ambiguous is if this goes away if the feelings for eachother change. I'm sure they worded it that way to keep the audience guessing if she in fact still loves Yang, Tai, and Qrow (it's a pretty safe assumption they all still love her), or she can just use her semblane because at one point they did.
